  • Patent number: 10925450
Abstract: The present invention relates to methods for the production of an improved integral connection of a retaining plate to the wall of a vacuum cleaner filter bag. According to a first variant, the retaining plate is not applied directly on the wall of the vacuum cleaner filter bag but rather a textile material is disposed between retaining plate and the wall. The connection of the retaining plate and the wall of the vacuum cleaner filter bag is thereby effected via the textile material. According to a second variant, in regions between retaining plate and wall of the vacuum cleaner filter bag, a film made of a thermoplastic material is disposed between wall of the vacuum cleaner filter bag and retaining plate. The connection of the retaining plate and the wall of the vacuum cleaner filter bag is thereby effected via the film. According to a third variant, the retaining plate is connected directly to the wall of the vacuum cleaner filter bag.

  • Publication number: 20090301043
Abstract: A filter bag includes a first filter material layer including an inflow opening, a second filter material layer having edges along which the second filter layer is joined to the first filter material layer to form an inside space; and a flat, multi-layer filter insert arranged in the inside space and having sections connected, respectively, to the first and second material layers. The filter insert has at least two outer layers defining an intermediate area there between. The intermediate area includes a center layer or an intermediate space for dust collection.

  • Patent number: 7501003
Abstract: The invention provides a renewable composite filter media for removal of particles from a fluid stream. The filter media includes a membrane filtration layer comprising a porous polymeric membrane having an upstream side and a downstream side relative to the direction of fluid flow, a first depth filtration media layer having an upstream side and a downstream side relative to the direction of fluid flow, the first depth filtration media layer being disposed on upstream side of the membrane filtration layer; and at least one additional depth filtration media layer removably attached to the upstream side of the first depth filtration media layer. In this aspect, the first depth filtration media layer may be removably attached to the membrane filtration layer.

  • Publication number: 20090000256
Abstract: The invention relates to a filter bag for filtering fine particles from a gas, having a filter coating at least of a certain coating thickness, and at least one filter layer of a certain layer thickness that disposed downstream of the filter coating in the direction of the gas flow. The invention is based on the task of providing a filter bag having a low tendency to clog, thus improving the service life of the dust filter bag, particularly upon the filtering of fine dusts. The task is solved in that the coating thickness of the filter coating (1) is essentially larger than the coating thickness of the filter layer (3, 4) disposed downstream.

  • Patent number: 7329296
Abstract: A filter bag (1) for a filter device includes a tubular, flexible, air-penetrable filter body (6) provided with a suspension arrangement at an unfolded end thereof. The suspension arrangement includes a rigid ring element (7) with outwardly protruding members 10 annularly secured to the unfolded end of the filter body. The ring element (7) is arranged at least partially at an interior part of the filter body (6). Also a filter device including a housing with a dust chamber (4) and a clean-air chamber (5) that are separated by an partition wall (3) suspending at least one filter bag (1) as described above that extends through an opening (2) provided in the partition wall (3) with a main part of the filter body (6) located in the dust chamber (4). The ring element (7) of the filter bag (1) extends at least partially into the opening (2) in the partition wall (3).
