Abstract: A sliding layer and a sliding element with such a sliding layer includes a fiber reinforced plastic with a plastic matrix and a plastic thread as a reinforcing element. The plastic thread has polyester filaments into which are worked PTFE particles by process engineering.
Abstract: The invention provides a novel memory for which process technology is relatively simple and which can store multivalued information by a small number of elements. A part of a shape of the first electrode in the first storage element is made different from a shape of the first electrode in the second storage element, and thereby voltage values which change electric resistance between the first electrode and the second electrode are varied, so that one memory cell stores multivalued information over one bit. By partially processing the first electrode, storage capacity per unit area can be increased.

Abstract: Method of and apparatus for producing twistless yarns from glued together separate fibers. Tape from interrupted or continuous fibers is fed by a pair of rollers, and moving in a straight line, is turned circularly or gyrated by a whirling air flux and as a result is false twisted. The false twisted tape, rotating circularly, passes through a recirculating glue solution by entering the top surface of a pool thereof. Passing through the glue solution, the tape is covered with glue, and carries away part of the glue solution toward a calender pair of rollers, which are thus kept always in a constant wet condition. Glue solution running out from the calender pair of rollers deviates from the trajectory of the moving tape, and glides along the working surface of the lower calender roller. The quantity of the glue thus taken away form the fibrous tape can be controlled and regulated.
Abstract: A method of manufacturing twistless or substantially twistless yarn consisting of dry drafting a sliver, moistening the drafted sliver with a water-soluble cation-active polymer bonding agent, drafting the sliver in the web state, false twisting the sliver, activating the bonding agent by drying the sliver on a heated drum and winding the resultant yarn up on cross wound cheeses, and a yarn manufactured according to this process.

Abstract: There is provided a new wrapped textile thread which includes a core made of threads arranged considerably parallel to each other. The core is covered by a wrapping thread which winds in a single turn, forming a regular and joined spiral around the core. This textile thread is characterized by the fact that at least one part of the peripheral surface of the core is joined together by heat sealing with the wrapping of winding thread. The textile thread is useful in textile materials which require a very good resistance against abrasion.
Abstract: In a method for the manufacture of twistless yarn a sliver of staple fibre material is drafted in two drafting zones, which are separated by a neutral zone. The drafting in the first zone occurs in a dry condition and in the second zone in a wet condition. The drafting liquid, which can contain a bonding agent, is supplied to the sliver through a false twister inserted in the neutral zone. This drafting process provides an increased uniformity of twistless yarn in a range of counts of 10-300 tex at a production rate of 300 to 600 m/min.
