  • Patent number: 11078602
Abstract: A yarn head rotor 1 for a cabling machine, having several deflection rollers 2 for evening the yarn tension of two yams being twisted, each deflection roller being rotatably mounted on a pivot axis 5 at right angles to the rotor axis of the yarn head rotor 1 and guided across the two yarns. The deflection roller 2 is mounted in the yarn head rotor 1 by bearings 6 at both ends of the deflection roller 2, wherein the two ball bearings 6 are each enclosed by a housing 7 of the yarn head rotor 1, which is closed with a cover 8, and yarn guiding eyelets 9, guiding the inner and outer yarns 17, are arranged upstream of the deflection roller 2 in such a way that they supply both yarns of the deflection roller between the two ball bearings 6 to the yarn head rotor 1.

  • Patent number: 10544523
Abstract: At least two pairs of magnets are arranged near one another on supports, the pairs of magnets and the supports form, when an item to be stabilized is in a required angular position, a closed magnetic circuit (except for the air gap), with magnets placed in such a direction that their north and south poles successively alternate with one another along the magnetic circuit, an item, sensitive to the magnetic field, is attached to the fixed part and placed inside the closed magnetic circuit, the sensitive item supplies a logic output state corresponding to the “item to be stabilized in the required angular position” when the detected field is less than a predetermined maximum threshold, and a logic state corresponding to the “item to be stabilized not in the required angular position”, when the detected field is greater than a minimum predetermined threshold.

  • Patent number: 6298648
Abstract: Multiple twist spindle to impart two+two twists to textile yarns and threads, whether they be continuous filaments or discontinuous fibres, the spindle comprising a spindle support (16) which supports a support (13) for the feed bobbin (12) maintained substantially stationary and two counter-rotating parts, respectively the inner rotary part (18a) and the outer rotary part (18b), the counter-rotating parts (18a, 18b) being coaxial to each other and substantially coaxial to the axis (19) of the spindle (10), the thread (F) unwinding from the feed bobbin (12) and leaving the inversion element (15) located above the bobbin (12) is induced by the counter-rotating parts (18a, 18b) to follow a path which first descends and then ascends, and then sent to collection means, the paths defining respectively an inner balloon (11a) and an outer balloon (11b) rotating outside the feed bobbin (12), the thread (F) receiving two twists for each revolution of each of the counter-rotating parts (18a, 18b), there being incl

  • Patent number: 6167687
Abstract: An apparatus is disclosed for manufacturing communication cables with improved, more uniform impedance characteristics at signal frequencies up to and above 600 MHz. The apparatus includes an “inside-out” rigid twisting machine and at least two bobbins supported within each such machine. Each rigid twisting machine includes a drive for spinning each of the bobbins about their respective axes, and fly-off arrangement is provided for flying off an insulated conductor wire wound on each of the bobbins with substantially no tension in the wire when the bobbin attains a first rotational speed. Guides are provided for guiding the wires from each of the bobbins to a closing point where the wires are closed. A double twist bow arrangement is provided which includes second drive for twisting the closed wires at a second rotational speed to form a twinned cable.
