Abstract: An improved writing tool consists essentially of a punctuation marking and error designation rubber seal supplemented by a capping furnished with seal stamping paste; two holes within the body, to permit insertion of a pen or a pencil stick, and a ruler; a clip serving to hold sheet of paper as well as pen holder; a cutter attached to the other side of the clip, serving to cut paper into smaller segments or chips as required. Such a tool proves to be advantageous and convenient in terms of utility, serviceability, endurance and convenience of application.
Abstract: A common hammer having a common hammer head. The handle, however, is different from a common one in that the bottom edge forms a square with the lower edge. Both a verticle and horizontal level have been embodied in the handle.
Abstract: Air brake adjustment and measurement tools where the adjustment tool includes a long handle portion having a gripper assembly attached to one end and a socket wrench drive attached to the other end. The gripper assembly has a pair of facing jaw members adapted to engage opposing edges of a vehicle's air brake slack adjustment. The measuring tool includes a scale, and a permanent magnet attached to one end of the scale. In use, the measuring tool is placed next to the clevis rod of the vehicle's air brake assembly, and the adjustment tool is used to move the air brake slack adjustment between a braking and a non-braking position. The stroke of the clevis rod is measured by the measuring tool, and is adjusted by a socket wrench attached to a socket drive of the adjustment tool.
Abstract: A multi-purpose golf tool which provides, on a single, collapsible, compact carrier, most of the functions required by a golfer in the course of a round of golf, the carrier, itself, being constructed to perform certain of the functions in addition to acting as the carrier for the other elements of the tool.
Abstract: A diver's combined gauge console having an integral mount for a knife and sheath. The gauges may include a tank pressure gauge and a depth gauge. The gauges may be slightly tilted toward one another for ease of reading. The depth gauge may be externally adjustable.
Abstract: A combination gauge-socket wrench for use in removing, gapping and installing spark plugs, the gauge extending circumferentially about the upper end and increasing uniformly in thickness along its length, indicia adjacent the gauge to indicate the thickness through a selected portion of the gauge, the socket wrench being adapted to fit a conventional spark plug.
Abstract: The tool incorporates a housing for opposed tape and chalkline reels. The housing has sufficient height to act as, and in conjunction with, an attached abutment, to make the tool useable as a cutting guide square. The abutment surface has the triple function of aligning the device square to the edge of a piece of lumber edge while providing mounting bosses for a scribe element, and, with the scribe element, acting as a hanger for removably attaching the device to the user's belt.
Abstract: The box top opener is of one piece molded plastics material and includes an elongated reinforced handle portion having reinforced box top gripping jaws extending from one end thereof. The jaws are comprised of a pair of flat parallel closely spaced apart plates adapted to receive the box top therebetween. The upper jaw has a rectangular configuration and the lower jaw has a triangular configuration with the edges thereof beveled to facilitate insertion under the box top whereby upon lifting of the handle the portion of the box top engaged between the jaws will be separated from the sides of the box and lifted upwardly to provide access to the contents of the box.

Abstract: The handle of a hammer has a recess at the free end and one or more spirit levels are embedded in a plastic filler in the recess. The spirit levels are associated with surface engaging points on the hammer, comprising points on the striking head portion of the hammer or on a side of the head in combination with a bottom or side point at the free end of the handle. Spirit levels, including a bullseye level, are provided to accomplish horizontal leveling in two directions and also in a vertical direction. The bottom surface of the recess is painted a contrasting color for easy viewing of the spirit levels, and interengaging tongues and recess extensions are provided for locking the plastic filler in its recess.
Abstract: A combined socket wrench and gauge for removing, installing and setting the gap of spark plugs includes an elongated tubular body with a socket in one end and an annular gauge wall extending axially from the other end. The gauge wall has a series of flat gauge members in edge-to-edge relationship, forming a polygon of gauges of predetermined thicknesses. The distal edge of each gauge is beveled. The gauge sizes are stamped into the outside body surface.
Abstract: A device for protecting a surface into which fasteners are driven. The device includes a shield portion and a handle substantially parallel to the shield. An opening is provided in the shield portion large enough to accommodate the head of a nail, and an elongated open slot extends from an edge of the shield portion. Indicia are provided spaced a predetermined distance from the edge for gauging door trim setback. A tubular member upstands from the shield and has interior dimensions great enough to receive a screwdriver blade to guide the screwdriver as it drives the screw into the surface on which the shield portion is disposed.
