  • Patent number: 8910499
Abstract: Disclosed are a multifunctional locking device a housing, and a motor in the housing. An actuator includes a distal end, a filament configured to convey a signal between the distal end and the housing, a first actuator section including a first plurality of engagement members, and a second actuator section including a second plurality of engagement members. There is a reel in the housing, the reel being driven by the motor, the reel being configured to wind up and store the first actuator section at a time when the first engagement members are disengaged from the second engagement members. A combining head is configured to bring the first actuator section together with the second actuator section, to engage the first engagement members with the second engagement members, thereby increasing a rigidity of the actuator, enabling the actuator to impart both a pushing force and a pulling force to an object.

  • Patent number: 6813917
Abstract: A self-powered electric lock includes a lock bolt and a first engagement element having disengaged and engageable positions. An electric actuator includes an output operative to move the first engagement element to its engageable position. A manually operated rotatable member is operatively coupled to the first engagement element when the first engagement element is in its engageable position. A lock bolt drive mechanism is coupled to the lock bolt and to the first engagement element when the first engagement element is in its engageable position. The movable output moves the first engagement element to its engageable position upon input of correct electronic data. An electricity generator is coupled to the manually operated rotatable member. The electricity powers the electric actuator and an electronic data input device. The manually operated rotatable member is also used to actuate the lock bolt drive mechanism and retract the lock bolt.

  • Patent number: 6397646
Abstract: A door lock able to be unlocked by a key or a remote controller, has a body and a bolt provided inside the body. The bolt has a recess defined therein, and a tooth formed at a bottom side of a first end thereof. Two upper sheets and two lower sheets are respectively provided in an upper portion and a lower portion of the recess. Four links are pivotally connected end to end by four pivot pins to form a rhombic structure and respectively provided between the upper sheets and between the lower sheets. Two torsion springs are provided between the sheets and respectively mounted on two transversal pivot pins and pushing against two longitudinal pivot pins. An upper cam is mounted at an upper side of the bolt. A lower cam is mounted at a lower side of the bolt. The upper cam and the lower cam each have two tongues for pushing the upper sheets and the lower sheets inwards, and pushing the bolt to transversally move.

  • Patent number: 6367296
Abstract: Motor vehicle door lock comprising: a latch cooperating with a striker; a pawl immobilizing the latch in the closed position; a latch-release mechanism comprising a control member that can move in response to actuation of a door handle; an electromechanical locking/unlocking device causing the lock to pass into an unlocked condition in response to an unlocking signal produced by an electronic recognition device; an energy accumulation device is provided, this device including a spring interposed between the control member and the pawl in such a way that when the lock is in the locked condition, the spring stores energy by being stressed by the control member during its actuation movement in response to the actuation of the door handle and so that, when the lock moves into the unlocked condition, the energy stored up in the spring is released and the energy accumulation device causes the pawl to move into its “escaped” position, releasing the latch.

  • Patent number: 6363762
Abstract: A locking device for a lock cylinder (12) has an electronically controlled inhibiting element (2), which in an inhibit position (xS) blocks movement of a rotor (1) relative to a stator (6) and frees the rotor (1) in a free position (xF). A drive (9) exerts a working force (FA) on the inhibiting element (2), by which inhibiting element (2) can be reversibly transferred from the inhibit position (xS) into the free position (xF) and vice versa. A guide (52-57) is connected to the drive (9) and, at least outside the free position (xF), clearly defines the position of the inhibiting element (2). A restoring device (3) exerts a restoring force (FR) directed away from the free position (xF) on the inhibiting element (2), when that element is between the free position (xF) and a rest position (xO). In the rest position (xO) and in positions between the rest position (xO) and the free position (xF), the inhibiting element inhibits movement of the rotor (1).

  • Patent number: 6360573
Abstract: A mechanism for locking and unlocking an electronic safe lock barrel which is provided with a retaining long key and is fastened with a rotary mechanism located on the outside of the safe door. The lock barrel has a portion which is located in the inside of the safe door and is provided with a position confining slide sleeve. The position confining slide sleeve is fastened at the rear end with a motor having a rotary shaft which is engaged with a threaded sleeve capable of displacing back and forth. The threaded sleeve is provided with a retaining slot for retaining the retaining long key of the lock barrel so as to prevent the lock barrel from being turned by the rotary mechanism. The motor is operated by the circuit to enable the threaded sleeve to retain or release the retaining long key of the lock barrel, thereby controlling the locking and the unlocking mechanisms of the electronic lock.

  • Patent number: 6351977
Abstract: An electrically operated, strong, security system comprising a lock with remote control installed in a wall adjacent to a door frame or under a door. The lock comprises at least one rod which extends into the door when the door is closed and in a locked state. In an unlocked state an actuator retracts the rods from the door, back into the door frame or into the floor. The security lock system provides a manual control for the lock inside a house or building along with indicator lights showing the lock status. An emergency DC battery provides power for the security lock if there is a primary power outage. A remote control locks all doors in the house simultaneous that have such a security lock, and the remote control unlocks only the door or doors selected to be unlocked.
