Individual Blocking Elements Patents (Class 70/287)
  • Patent number: 10047541
Abstract: A dual locking system including a combination mechanism and a key mechanism is provided, including a control plate to control access to the key mechanism. When the control plate is positioned in a blocking position, the control plate blocks access to the key hole of the key mechanism. The control plate can be released from the blocking position by turning the dials of the combination mechanism to the correct combination. The released control plate can be moved to an exposure position, which allows access to the key hole.

  • Patent number: 8215141
Abstract: A code changing mechanism for a mechanical combination lock, comprises function keys; two rows of code number keys on the lock body; a code-changing rack; an intermediate gear; a code-changing lock core with keyhole; and gear modules connected with each code number key, each gear module comprises a code-changing gear and controlling chip. There is a groove for resetting code provided on the gear; the chip inserted in the groove forming a code reset site; a code free site provided between the chip and gear; a left and a right straight rack; and the rack engages with a corresponding row of code-changing gears. The lock core coaxially connects with the intermediate gear, the intermediate gear engages with two opposing code-changing gears thereof. A movable sheet is under each of the keys. The code is changeable without disassembling any component, making the mechanism convenient, swift, flexible, reliable, with robust anti-crack capability.

Abstract: The lock comprises a lock bolt, in particular a latch bolt (17), the actuating mechanism of which can be locked by means of a locking mechanism which comprises one series of pushbuttons (25) on each side of the lock. The pushbuttons (25) act on code and blocking tumbler members so that when the correct number combination is put in, one of the two check slides (39) is released. A selector (59) couples the two check slides (39) to the lock bolt actuating mechanism so that, when one of the two check slides is released, the lock bolt (17) can be moved to its unlocking position. The lock can thus be unlocked from either side of the lock and, due to the two locking mechanisms, a different number combination can be set for the two sides. The tumbler members each preferably comprise a first tumbler element, consisting of a base element and a code element screwed onto the base element, and a second tumbler arranged in the check slide and biased by means of a spring against the code element.

Abstract: A mountable lock includes a lock body and a retaining member. The lock body is configured to be secured to an external structure by at least one fastening member. The lock body includes a lock interface movable from a locking condition to an unlocking condition in response to proper user manipulation of the lock interface. The retaining member includes a first end receivable in a first opening of the lock body and lockingly engageable with the lock body when the lock interface is in the locking condition, the first end being disengageable from the first opening when the lock interface is in the unlocking condition. The at least one fastening member is accessible through a passageway in the lock body that is blocked when the retaining member is in locking engagement with the lock body, thereby preventing disassembly of the lock body from the external structure.

  • Patent number: 7013203
Abstract: Wind turbine generator wind farm systems to collect data for use for wind farm control. A combination master-slave supervisory command and data acquisition (SCADA) architecture together with distributed databases local to the data producing device within a wind farm provide functionality for real-time monitoring and control as well as secondary data processing and/or remote user access. The architecture facilitates approximately real-time monitoring and control of devices in the wind farm both locally and remotely while also facilitating reliable archiving of operational data of individual wind turbines as well as totalized wind farm data.

  • Patent number: 4787222
Abstract: A system is disclosed for positive identification between a patient and a blood unit to be administered to the patient incorporating a combination lock which positively prevents access to the blood unit unless its code matches that of the patient. An alphabetic code is assigned to the patient and is set into the combination lock at the time the blood unit is removed from the blood bank. Setting of the code is achieved by the technician without necessity of external tools or mechanical skill. The combination lock has several alphabetic coded indicia dials which may be set at any orientation with respect to several locking rings. Once the combination is set, a manual clamping force exerted on the structure serves to lock the indicia rings to the associated locking ring to set the code.

  • Patent number: 4353230
Abstract: A fluid-actuated locking device for the doors of dwellings or offices or for armored doors having a plurality of tubes for the flow of a fluid supplied from a reservoir, which fluid may either be pressurized to operate a lock or may flow back through the tubes after the release of the pressure so as to allow the locking of the door; a presettable combination is provided to predetermine whether fluid will flow through the tubes thus allowing operation of the lock to unlock the door, numbers or letters being provided and usable in the presettable combination; the fluid is subjected to pressure by a pump to effect withdrawal of pistons from the locking once the preset combination has been set to the preselected combination; the fluid is fed to the lock by a valved manifold which also controls the back flow of the fluid from the lock to the reservoir and works in association with the presettable combination to unlock or lock the door; and locking of the door is accomplished by the action of springs in the lock an
