    Abstract: A multistage lock apparatus has a base, a disk holder, two selecting devices, two disk sets and at least one interfering element. The base has a mounting panel and a central tube. The disk holder is connected to the base and has a mounting beam, two extending beams, a middle beam, a connecting beam and two mounting spaces. The selecting devices are rotatably connected to the base. The disk sets are respectively mounted on the selecting devices in the mounting specs of the disk holder and each disk set has a driving disk and at least one driven disk. The at least one interfering element is mounted securely on the disk holder and each of the at least one interfering element has a mounting tab and two elastic panels.

A second embodiment of the combination locking system has a combination lock comprising a plurality of morphosyntactically conformational, paradigmatic semantic word string indicia that together form a myriad of grammatical and meaningful phrases, only one of which is the correct combination.

The controlling device is mounted inside the case and connects to the cylinder. The cylinder has a cylinder body with a keyhole and a key. The card can be inserted into the card slot. When the card is inserted into the card slot, the key can be rotated to operate the lock. The method of using a card instead of coins for the operation a locking device provides convenience.

    Abstract: A core having a plurality of cutouts penetrating from the core surface to the keyway, and a plurality of activator inserts and filler inserts, such that the installer can locate one or more activator inserts in any of the cutouts, and one or more filler inserts in any of the remaining cutouts, to thereby define a program or code to be provided in the respective flank or flanks of an authorized key. At least three and preferably at least five slotted cutouts are provided. The inserts are preferably in the form of generally semi-circular plates on at least one side of the core.
