With Ball Or Roller Patents (Class 70/295)
  • Patent number: 8387423
Abstract: A bicycle lock set includes a main part and a connection member wherein an operation unit is located between the main part and the connection member. A shackle is movably connected to a first end of the main part and has two notches. A frame is linearly movable in the main part and has a first contact portion. A number wheel is rotatably connected to the frame and has a second contact portion which is engaged with the first contact portion. The operation unit includes an operation member which is driven and rotated by the frame and has a stud for being engaged with one of the notches when the shackle is moved toward the main part. A receiving space is defined in the operation member and a bead is partially received in the receiving space or pushed to protrude out from the main part.

  • Patent number: 8272238
Abstract: A case has a body defining an accommodation such as may be sized to accept a squat cylindrical object such as a magnetic tape, a CD-ROM, a DVD or such like object. The case may include a locking mechanism, and that locking mechanism may be a combination locking mechanism. The locking mechanism may permit axial access to the accommodation, or it may permit radial access to the accommodation. The accommodation may lie in whole or in part between relatively movable members of the locking mechanism.

  • Patent number: 7934405
Abstract: A combination lock includes a lock body, a shackle axially moveable between a retracted position and an extended position, a locking mechanism, and a dial secured to the front side of the lock body. The locking mechanism is movable from a locked condition to an unlocked condition to permit movement of the shackle from the retracted position to the extended position. The dial includes an outer ring portion surrounding a stationary lock body face and rotatable with respect to the face, and a locking mechanism engaging portion disposed between the lock body face and the rear side of the lock body, wherein successive rotation of the dial to a series of one or more predetermined rotational positions causes the locking mechanism to move from the locked condition to the unlocked condition.

  • Patent number: 7574880
Abstract: A key lock structure arranged in a mechanical key lock device refusing any code pressing while locked, so as to avoid finding out the correct codes by try and error. The key lock structure includes a casing, a sliding base disposed in the casing, an orientation frame arranged on a bottom face of the sliding base and a plurality of code-locked keystroke bodies. The sliding base has a plurality of elongation arms parallel to one another, a plurality of slots arranged with the elongation arms in an alternate manner, and a plurality of stop portions disposed in the respective slots. The orientation frame is disposed under the sliding base. Each of the code-locked keystroke bodies has a sliding member, which has an extrusion portion capable of being blocked by the respective stop portion. Consequently, the code-locked keystroke bodies are fixed and cannot be pressed in the lock status.

  • Patent number: 5749252
Abstract: A manipulation resistant combination lock includes a housing, a drive cam attached a drive shaft, a moveable bolt, a fence attached to a fence lever, and tumbler wheels. A fence lever is pivotally attached to the bolt, and has a nose portion engageable with a drive cam gate in the drive cam which is keyed to the drive shaft and includes two spaced multi-surface contact rollers of magnetically attractable material on opposite sides of the drive cam gate. Each contact roller has a plurality of non-identical surfaces which is uniquely radially positioned and oriented relative to the axis of rotation of each contact roller. A permanent magnet is mounted in the nose portion of the fence lever thereon to assert an attraction force which rotates the contact roller as the contact roller approaches the nose portion of the fence lever due to rotation of the drive cam.

  • Patent number: 5473921
Abstract: A circular rotating member, having an outer peripheral surface, is rotatably mounted in a ring member. The rotating member includes an elongated central slot and four peripheral slots extending inwardly from the peripheral surface of the rotating member and spaced at 90 degrees from each other. The key of the combination lock extends into the central elongated slot, and a ball bearing is carried in each of the peripheral slots of the rotating member. The inner surface of the ring member is substantially identical to the outer peripheral surface of the rotating member but the inner surface of the ring member includes, additionally, two cut-outs. Thus, when the ring member is driven to rotate at a high speed by an automatic dialer, the ball bearing will be driven by centrifugal force into the cut-out whereby to prevent further rotation of the dial to thereby block the lock.
