    Abstract: A dual key lock core and a key lock core assembly using the same are provided. The dual key lock core of the present invention includes a lock core rod, a driving rod, and an outer barrel. The lock core rod includes a wedging part and an inner barrel disposed at opposite ends. The inner barrel has a hollow guiding groove, an inner barrel protrusion, and a first lock structure. The driving rod is rotatably capped within the inner barrel. One end of the outer surface of the driving rod has a driving protrusion. The other end of the outer surface of the driving rod has a second lock structure. The driving protrusion is in and movable along the hollow guiding groove when the driving rod is capped within the inner barrel.

    Abstract: A tubular lock and its operating key have safety features that render the lock and key well suited for use with food freezer appliances and the like where the keyway of the lock extends horizontally. The tubular portion of the operating key, and the keyway of the tubular lock are cooperatively configured so a key inserted into the keyway of the lock fits quite loosely and is minimally supported even when fully inserted. The graspable bow of the operating key is made unusually long causing the center of gravity of an inserted operating key to be spaced far from the front face of the lockā€”so the weight of the loosely fitting and minimally supported operating key levers the graspable bow downwardly, causing the key to drop from the keyway unless being held in the keyway. Gravity is optimally used to effect key ejection.

    Abstract: A latching system 1 has a housing 3 provided with a recess 5 in which a part of the bicycle can be inserted, preferably a frame tube sloping upwards. In the housing 3 a latching element 7 is located which can be moved between a release position in which the latching element opens the recess and a latching position in which the latching element closes the recess. The latching system 1 further comprises a key 19 that is positioned in an opening 21 in the housing 3 and is pushed out of the housing when the latching element is moved from the latching position to the release position. To this end the latching element 7 is equipped with an arm 23 which is fitted to the U-shaped part of the housing. When the latching element 7 turns to the release position, one end 25 of the arm 23 pushes against the key 19 causing it it be pushed out of the opening 21.

    Abstract: A method of multiplexing a plurality of data flows into a single output using hierarchical gating operations instead of queues is disclosed. In the preferred embodiment, the hierarchical multiplexing method comprises sequentially processing a packet at each of a plurality of hierarchical levels by characterizing the flow at each hierarchical level and either passing or discarding the packet. The decision whether to pass or discard a packet is generally made for each packet at one or more hierarchical levels based on traffic parameters and the state of the system such as congestion. In the preferred embodiment, a Three Color Marker algorithm is used to characterize the flow and mark packets subjecting to the discard decision. The invention may be used by a router or multi-layer switch to process multiple data flows in a hierarchical fashion without hierarchical queues, thereby reducing processing and memory requirements.

    Abstract: A lock core with a related key includes a core body and a housing and a related key. The related key is inserted in a keyhole of the core body and pushed inward to push a stop plate inward in the keyhole at the same time, with projecting ridges of the key moving inward together with engage shafts until projecting members align with an annular groove of the housing. Then the core body can be rotated to be unlocked. When the key is pulled out of the core body, the engage shafts and the stop plate return to their original positions by the springs to lock the core body. Thus the stop plate normally closes up the keyhole, preventing dirt and miscellaneous matters from entering the keyhole. Any matters or even broken key parts may be sprung out of the keyhole by the stop plate, with the keyhole never clogged.

    Abstract: A key operated switch is provided for disabling an automobile air bag passive restraint system. The two or four position switch includes a housing, a rotor, a plurality of rotationally actuated electrical switch elements, a key ejecting mechanism, and a positive positioning detent. The switch assembly is arranged such that a transverse surface of the rotor defining a key slot is accessible through the housing. The key slot allows an operating key to be manually inserted into the rotor. In or order to insert the key, however, the therein, a certain minimum amount of force must be applied to the key sufficient to overcome the key ejecting mechanism. In the absence of such minimum insertion force, the key ejecting mechanism will act expel the key from the rotor. Once inserted into the rotor, the key may be manually rotated which causes corresponding rotation of the rotor.
