Abstract: Systems and methods which provide for intelligent and/or optimized use of shipping services through facilitating consolidation of shipped items with respect to one or more leg of shipments are described. Embodiments provide a shipping consolidation management system operable to analyze various shipping parameters and identify situations in which consolidation of shipped items with respect to one or more legs of a shipment may be desired. Shipping consolidation management systems may provide operation to identify situations appropriate for forming consolidated shipments associated with a single shipper and/or a plurality of shippers. A shipping consolidation management system of embodiments operates to print consolidated shipment documentation for use with respect to the consolidated shipment.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides various methods and embodiments for bundling remotely ordered grocery items. When a customer places a bundle request, the system determines whether a customer-defined number of the bundle items will be available at the customer-selected fulfillment time. If the system determines the customer-defined items will not be available at the fulfillment time, the bundle order is rejected and the user is alerted. Various other methods to assure complete fulfillment of customer orders are provided herein.

Each package container of the plurality of package containers is associated with a corresponding destination. The vehicle includes a package manipulator configured to move a first package container of the plurality of package containers from the storage unit to a first drone. Abstract: One aspect of the present disclosure is directed to a computer-implemented system for generating an automated outbound profile. The system may include may perform steps including: receiving data comprising a capacity of a fulfillment center (FC); receiving, a plurality of product identifiers associated with incoming products to the FC; periodically collecting and storing transactional logs for the products at the FC using the product identifier; determining a current inventory for the products stored at the FC using the product identifier; generating an outbound profile for the FC using at least one of the transactional logs and the current inventory using a machine learning algorithm; wherein the outbound profile comprises an expected percentage of outgoing products for a plurality of categories of products; and managing network outbound using the generated outbound profile of the FC by comparing the outbound profile to actual outbound capacity of the FC.

Abstract: An electronic system provides various features and functionality for managing resources. An alert may be sent when a mobile device crosses a geo-fence. The alert may describe how much of the resource is available for the types of transaction that are likely to occur within the geo-fence. The alert may request or confirm the allocation of the transaction to a resource pool or suggest alternative transactions.

Abstract: An electronic procurement system includes an administration module, a shopping module, and a service/analytics module. The administrative module may allow the building, customizing and management of catalogs. This may include approved supplier pricing and business rules, such as item restrictions and product substitutions. The shopping module allows end-users to browse shop and complete orders for preferred suppliers. This module may also allow users to compare items at the point of purchase. Finally, the service/analytics module allows for access to business analytics and to manage order workflow tasks, such as order approvals and user approvals.

Abstract: An Artificial Intelligence (AI) trained item image identifier identifies item identifiers, item descriptions, item information, and item pricing from item images captured from a mobile self-checkout manager on a mobile device. The item identifiers are automatically placed in a cart. Payment for checkout is processed through the mobile self-checkout manager and a receipt is provided for viewing on the mobile device. The receipt is shown on the display of the mobile device when existing a retail establishment for any auditing of the transaction with the establishment.

Abstract: A computerized system for generating dynamic websites that includes a memory storing instructions and at least one processor configured to execute the instructions to perform operations. The operations include receiving an order from a customer device, determining whether the destination address is eligible for delivery by a first time, and based on determining the destination address is eligible, searching a first database to retrieve information of the at least one product. The operations may also include generating a user interface element indicating whether delivery by the first time is possible (the user interface element being configured to modify a website displayed in the customer device) and sending the user interface element to the customer device. Further, the operations may include receiving a response from the customer device and modifying an entry in a second database to indicate the promised delivery date for the product is the first time.

Abstract: A logic device and method are provided for intercepting a data flow from a network source to a network destination. A data store holds a set of compliance rules and corresponding actions. A packet inspector is configured to inspect the intercepted data flow and identify from the data store a compliance rule associated with the inspected data flow. A packet filter is configured to, when the data flow is identified as being associated with a compliance rule, carry out an action with respect to the data flow corresponding to the compliance rule.

Abstract: The present invention provides a distributed interphone system capable of simplifying registration of settings of individual devices, for example, when new ones are installed. An interphone system includes apartment parent devices having setting files containing control contents for control of the apartment parent devices, registered therein, terminal devices, and building control units. A setting apparatus includes accessing units for accessing at least one registered setting file and at least one unregistered setting file of the devices, a display unit for displaying the control contents of the plurality of accessed device setting files, and a control unit configured to be able to copy the control contents of the registered setting file displayed on the display unit into the unregistered setting file.

Abstract: An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) carries a camera, sends data from the camera, and receives commands. The UAV is connected to a messaging platform. Pictures or video clips received from the UAV are selected and placed in messages broadcast by an account associated with the UAV. Video footage from the camera is live-streamed in a card-type message. Account holders of the messaging platform may control the UAV with commands embedded in messages and directed towards an account associated with the UAV. Controllable elements of the UAV include UAV location, camera orientation, camera subject, UAV-mounted lighting, a UAV-mounted display, a UAV-mounted projector, UAV-mounted speakers, and a detachable payload. UAV control may be determined through democratic means. Some UAV functionality may be triggered through aggregated engagements on the messaging platform. The UAV may include a display screen and/or a microphone to provide for telepresence or interview functionality.

Abstract: A point-of-sale system with a mobile payment feature includes an electronic display, one or more processors, and storage media storing a payment plugin to the point-of-sale system. The payment plugin sends ticket data representing a guest ticket over one or more data networks to an online service provider computer system; receives instruction from the service provider computer system to mark the guest ticket as designated for mobile payment; and causes user interface feedback on the electronic display that the guest ticket is to be paid via mobile payment. By doing so, the merchant is informed through their point-of-sale system that payment of the guest ticket will be facilitated by the online service provider. This alleviates the merchant from collecting payment from the guest before the guest leaves the merchant's premises and allows the guest to leave the premises as soon as the guest ticket is ready for mobile payment.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and machine readable medium are provided for replenishing product in a freight tethering environment. A pick list is generated at a hub store including one or more items that need to be replenished at a spoke store. It is determined whether the pick list can be fulfilled by the hub store. If the pick list cannot be fulfilled by the hub store, then the one or more items on the pick list is aggregated to a replenishment need of the hub store. The aggregated replenishment need of the hub store and the spoke store is communicated to a distribution center. Product is received from the distribution center based on the aggregated replenishment need, and the pick list for the spoke store is fulfilled from the received product.

Abstract: Techniques and system configurations for demand-based product sourcing in an electronic commerce setting is described herein. In one example, information about an item corresponding to a plurality of fulfillment locations is stored in a database. The information includes a plurality of transit times and a plurality of transit costs corresponding to each of the plurality of transit times. A subset of transit times is selected upon receiving a location of a user. A subset of transit costs corresponding with the subset of transit times is selected. An indication of a selection of a transit time is received. The indication includes the item, a quantity of the item, and a destination. A preferred fulfillment location of a subset of fulfillment locations is calculated, the calculating using the transit time, the location, and a selection rule, wherein the selection rule is generated using a plurality of selection attributes.

Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for facilitating shopping for products that have been liked to a social media network. A product can be seen on a merchant's website, for example. The product can be liked by user to the social media website. When the same or a different user subsequently sees the liked product on the social media website, the same or different user can purchase the product from the social media website. Thus, the user is not required to visit the merchant's website to perform the purchase transaction. Upon completion of the purchase, the user can be allowed to leave feedback to rate the item according to a predefined scale, which can be visible to all those who view the item, as exhibited by a vendor on the social media platform.

Abstract: A mobile information apparatus for making mobile payments associated with a credit card or bank card, via a near distance radio frequency wireless communication, is herein disclosed and enabled. At least part of payment information and part of a device identification number associated with the mobile information apparatus are stored in the mobile information apparatus with an encryption technique. To make a payment, a user moves the mobile information apparatus to within a limited local physical distance from a wireless output controller. The user authorizes the payment by providing, via an interface, an input such as a password, a pin code, a button, biometrics or an ID number. Subsequent to the user authorization, the mobile information apparatus releases the payment information and the device identification number, over a short range radio frequency communication link, directly from the mobile information apparatus to the wireless output controller for payment and transaction processing.

Abstract: A mobile information apparatus for making mobile payments associated with a credit card, via a near distance radio frequency wireless communication unit, is herein disclosed and enabled. At least part of the payment information is stored in the mobile information apparatus with an encryption technique. To make a payment, the user approximates the mobile information apparatus to within a limited local physical distance of a wireless output controller, and the biometrics of the user is obtained by the mobile information apparatus as a security measure. The user authorizes the payment by using an interface on the mobile information apparatus, and subsequent to having received the biometric authentication and user authorization, the mobile information apparatus releases the payment information that includes encrypted data associated with a transaction over a short range radio frequency communication link to the wireless output controller for payment and transaction processing.

A purchase request may be received from a user device. The purchase request may be processed to identify user data, merchant data, and merchandise data. A privacy identifier associated with the purchase request may be generated. An intermediate processing center to receive requested merchandise may be determined based at least in part on the purchase request. Intermediate processing center data may be associated with the privacy identifier. The purchase request may be modified by removing at least a portion of the user data, and adding the privacy identifier. The modified purchase request may be transmitted to a merchant based at least in part on the merchant data.

The system may account for differences in table schema amongst a plurality of disparate databases within the production environment and the low level environment, thereby allowing the system to provide sanitized data only to the extent that it is needed for testing purposes. Furthermore, the system selectively provides sanitized test data on an as-needed basis, removing the need to continuously generate testing data.

Abstract: The present invention extends to methods, systems, and computer program products for training a classification model to predict categories. In one implementation, a method identifies category mappings generated for dominant queries associated with a query log. The method identifies mappings between a first set of queries and categories shown for the first set of queries, and identifies mappings between a second set of queries and clicked products for the second set of queries. A classification model is trained based on the mappings generated for dominant queries, the mappings between queries and the shown categories, and the mappings between queries and the clicked products.

Abstract: A node, of a network of nodes with access to a distributed ledger, receives a request to verify the user has consented to a current version of terms (i.e., current terms) associated with a program. The node obtains, using the distributed ledger, historical consent data indicating a version of the terms to which the user has previously provided consent. The node performs a first verification procedure to determine the user has not consented to the current terms, provides an indication to a user device that the user has not consented to the current terms, and receives, from the user device, a message indicating an acceptance of the current terms. The node performs additional verification procedures to determine that the user is who consented to the current terms and updates the distributed ledger to include a record indicating that the user consented to the current terms.

Abstract: In an exemplary embodiment, a method of registering online payment transaction details in an online banking system is described, the method comprising receiving data associated with an online payment transaction from a user, and storing data defining the online payment transaction after verifying the user's identity. In an initial mode of operation, the system enforces a restriction on the online transaction, and in a subsequent mode of operation, the system removes the restriction. A two-stage method of registering a user for access to an application on a mobile handset is also provided, whereby access is initially restricted until subsequent re-authentication of the user using a different channel.

Abstract: Methods of preparing retail establishments are disclosed. An area for a retail location may be chosen and an individual may be selected to manage the retail location. The selection of the area may include an evaluation of geographical factors. From the area, a retail location may be selected based on an aggregate score of a set of characteristics of the retail location. The individual may remotely select the layout and furnishing of the retail location and may remotely monitor the progress of the preparation of the retail location. In an embodiment, the individual may be prepared to manage the retail location at a centralized location that is distinct from the area where the retail location is located.
