  • Patent number: 11948106
Abstract: A system includes one or more processors; and at least one non-transitory machine-readable storage media comprising instructions which, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to: generate a set of shift candidates based on labor demand data; determine a set of decision variables representing whether a particular shift candidate is selected in a final schedule and whether a particular worker is assigned to the particular shift candidate; determine a set of constraints based at least in part on the set of decision variables, the set of shift candidates, the labor demand data, and scheduling configuration data, wherein a constraint of the set of constraints is transformed into linear form in terms of the set of decision variables; and determine simultaneously, using a MIP solver, a subset of the shift candidates selected in the final schedule and a set of shift assignments of which worker is assigned to which selected shift candidate of the subset of the shift candidates.

  • Patent number: 11900292
Abstract: Apparatus and associated methods relate to automatically prioritizing predicted events in a dynamic predicted queueing profile (PQP) for a service provider (SP) for a finite future time period. In an illustrative example, a central orchestration engine (COE) may generate, in response to a request for service from a service seeking entity (SSE), a dynamic queueing event profile (DQEP) associating the SSE with the PQP for the SP at the future time period. The COE may, for example, generate a confidence level of execution (CLE) for each DQEP in the PQP based on a historical behavior profile (HBP) of the SP and of each corresponding SSE. The COE may, for example, apply the confidence level of execution to each corresponding DQEP to assign a priority in the PQP. Various embodiments may, for example, advantageously dynamically prioritize a queue based on historical behavior of an SP and SSEs in the queue.

The processor then uses the candidate attorney claim score to recalculate the opposing attorney claim score, and checks to see whether the claim scores have converged. If the scores have not converged, the processor iteratively recalculates the claim scores of the candidate attorney and the opposing attorney until the scores converge. Finally, the candidate attorney claim score is used to determine an overall score for the candidate attorney which can be compared against the scores of other attorneys and used for attorney search and recommendation.

Abstract: A networked system shares operational information (tasks, positions, times, etc.) between dissimilar operators performing dissimilar operations in a same marine field. The shared information include associations (linkages and conflicts) that allows each operator to optimize its operations and complete tasks in a more efficient manner. As part of this system, a planning tool having a graphical user interface can be used to visualize plans at an operator (and nearby operators). Changes made to plans by one operator are shared with other operators via the system and illustrated in the interface at the other operators, thereby allowing the other operators to make their own respective operational changes in response.

An input tensor associated with a time window and the input tensor's associated performance metric may be received. The input tensor includes at least multiple sensor variables associated with the manufacturing system and multiple steps of the manufacturing system's manufacturing process. Based on the probability distribution, an overall change is determined between the training dataset's relationship of the historical tensor and associated performance metric, and the relationship of the input tensor and the input tensor's associated performance metric. Based on the probability distribution, contribution of at least one of the multiple variables and the multiple steps to the overall change is determined. • Patent number: 10700695
Abstract: Multipliers are fundamental building blocks in signal processing, including in emerging applications such as machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) that predominantly utilize digital-mode multipliers. Generally, digital multipliers can operate at high speed with high precision, and synchronously. As the precision and speed of digital multipliers increase, generally the dynamic power consumption and chip size of digital implementations increases substantially that makes solutions unsuitable for some ML and AI segments, including in portable, mobile, or near edge and near sensor applications. The present invention discloses embodiments of multipliers that arrange data-converters to perform the multiplication function, operating in mixed-mode (both digital and analog), and capable of low power consumptions and asynchronous operations, which makes them suitable for low power ML and AI applications.
