Upon reading out the discharge information, the battery controller (22) assumes a discharge prohibition mode to prohibit charging and discharging of the battery module (21).

Abstract: Systems, methods, and other embodiments for sorting-based assignment to optimize order fulfillment with short supply. One embodiment includes identifying a set of one or more distributions within a series of days. Sorting all demands of a first priority level occurring in the series of days by ascending order of size of the demand. For each demand of the first priority level in sorted order, (a) selecting an initial distribution during which the demand is scheduled to be fulfilled from the set of distributions, and (b) generating an indication that the demand can cannot be completely fulfilled, based on the size of the demand and the amount of supply available. Automatically arranging a graphical representation of a schedule of supplies and met and unmet demands for the series of days in a graphical user interface based at least on the indications generated for each demand.

Heuristics may also be used in determining a next vehicle task.

Abstract: A method for making a spatio-temporal combined optimal scheduling strategy of a mobile energy storage (MES) system includes: inputting data of a power system, a traffic system, and an MES system; setting a time interval, and initializing a time interval counter; inputting real-time fault, traffic, and MES data; and performing rolling optimization and solving, and delivering regulation decision instructions of the MES system, till a fault is removed. The core of the present disclosure is to propose a spatio-temporal combined optimal model of the MES system to describe spatio-temporal coupling statuses of an energy storage vehicle, a traffic network, and a power distribution network. The present disclosure provides guidance for an optimal scheduling decision of the MES system by properly regulating a traveling path and charging and discharging power of the MES system, thereby supporting high-reliability operation of the power distribution network.

Abstract: System and method for automatically calling back a customer via a predictive model determines a plurality of call-back metrics for a plurality of advisor records. The predictive model is applied to call-back data to identify customers that are likely to require a series of call-backs, and automatically generates a preferred call-back to such customers to reduce this risk. The automated call-back may follow termination of an identified customer's inbound call, or at some time after completion of a previous call interaction of the identified customer with an advisor. In the predictive model, a first compilation of call-back metrics record is representative of an overall likelihood of call-backs associated with each advisor record, and a second compilation of the plurality of call-back metrics is representative of a likelihood of call-backs for each of the plurality of products of the enterprise associated with the advisor record.

A transaction request having a specific transaction type (TT) is sent to an adapter, which sends another call with the transaction request to the public cloud. The specific TT corresponds to a particular serverless function (SF) of the third-party vendor. A particular template t corresponds to the specific TT. The particular template is a code statement that follows a standard code definition written in the proprietary programming language of the CCP. The other cloud computing platform invokes the particular SF to generate a transaction response that is consumable by the CCP.

Abstract: Techniques for compiling firewall rules into byte code or assembly code that can be loaded into cache memory of a processor and executed to evaluate received data packets. Rather than representing firewall rules in mid- or high-level languages stored in main memory, the techniques described herein include compiling the firewall rules into bytecode or assembly code, and distributing the code to the data plane. A packet-processing device may load the code representing the firewall rules into instruction cache of the processor. Further, the packet-processing device receives a data packet and extracts packet context data indicating attributes of the packet, and load the packet context data into a data cache of the processor. The processor can then execute the byte code or assembly code representing the firewall rules to evaluate the packet context data without having to access main memory to determine whether allow or block the data packet.

For each of the plurality of entities, an entity-specific model is constructed for forecasting imports and exports based on the generic field types. The entity-specific model for each of the plurality of entities is combined into a global supply chain model. Based on the global supply chain model, a data anomaly is forecast to a supply chain that is associated with a particular entity.
