Additionally, a root cause of the behavior is determined through automated, computerized analytics, which may include execution of a search query associated with the node, and a notification of the root cause may be provided via the graphical user interface. Additionally, the graphical user interface may be configured to receive user input that results in the generation of a nodal graph, where the user input includes placement of nodes on a display screen and edges representing a connection between two nodes, where the edges may represent a dependency between the nodes.

Abstract: Systems herein allow a user device to monitor calendar events with a secure bubble application. When an event is upcoming, the secure bubble application can present a notification. The secure bubble application can search other managed applications for content relevant to the meeting event. The secure bubble application can extract text, tags, and other metadata from the calendar event and any attached files. The text, tags, and other metadata can be used to search each managed application. Relevant emails, files, and notes can be displayed in a card generated by the secure bubble application.

Abstract: The present invention provides a system, method, and software application for enabling a user to view data from an external data source in a visual map, wherein the external data source has a web services interface. Visual mapping software on a computer provides a visual mapping interface in which a user can create, edit, and/or view a visual map. Within the visual mapping interface, the visual mapping software provides the user with an option to obtain data from one or more data sources associated with a web service. In response to the user selecting a data source associated with a web service, the visual mapping software builds a web service request for the web service associated with the selected data source. The visual mapping application makes a call to the applicable web service with the web service request. The visual mapping application subsequently receives data from the web service and transforms the data into a format that can be used to generate visual map data.

An index-tree generation unit generates an index tree representing the connection relationship among the pages in a tree structure, and in which a page linked from multiple pages is represented by different nodes in a duplicated manner. When a search word input unit inputs a search word in a client, a search-result generation unit of the search server generates a search result on the basis of the index. For the index tree, a search-result-tree generation unit, for example, highlights nodes containing the search word, and deletes nodes, each of which does not contain the search word and is not a branch point into multiple branches which contain the search word. Abstract: Methods are disclosed for grouping search results into a profile page. A search engine accepts a user search string and generates a first set of results. In response to the first set of results, a query generator generates queries corresponding to a number of entities sharing a common name. The search engine executes the queries, returning responsive data sets. An entity resolver merges the data sets to ensure that each unique entity is represented by a single data set. A threshold may be defined such that results meeting a certain level of similarity are merged. A profile generator creates a profile page for each unique entity using biographical data contained in the respective data sets, and generates a results page containing links to each unique profile. The results page is then sent to the user for display on a graphical user interface.

The end user input is received via an end user interface, and the end user input includes a subset of the plurality of data fields. In an embodiment, the retrieved data do not include data fields that are not part of the data fields supplied by the end user.

Abstract: Architecture that uses content from off-page data sources such as feeds (e.g., yellow pages, coupons, social networks, commerce, etc.) to present additional, relevant information in association with search results. The additional and relevant information is directly relevant to the implicit task the user is trying to accomplish. The architecture includes online and offline mechanisms that identify an entity represented on a web page and look-up information related to that entity in disparate data sources. Abstract: Search results may include both objective results and person results. In one example, a search query is evaluated to determine whether it is the type of query that a user might want to ask to a friend. If the query is of such a type, then the search engine may examine a social graph to determine which friends of the user who entered the query may have information that is relevant to answering the query. If such friends exist, then the friends may be displayed along with objective search results, along with an explanation of each friend's relevance to the query. Clicking on a person in the results may cause a conversation to be initiated with that person, thereby allowing the user who entered the query to ask his or her friend about the subject of the query.

Users are also able to search their annotations or to limit searches to documents they have annotated. Abstract: A computerized method of visualizing the collective opinion of a group regarding one or more qualitative issues. The group initially selects N issues from the universe of potential issues and often assigns the issues images and titles. The system presents each user with graphical user interface screens wherein individual users vote on the relative importance and degree of relationship between the N aspects (Data Points) and issues, often using drag and drop methods. The software computes N×N similarity matrices based on users voting input and clusters various aspects into groups of greater and lesser similarity and importance, and presents results of users qualitative ranking in easy to read relationship tree diagrams where the relative importance and qualitative relationship of the issues may be designated by size and other graphical markers. Abstract: A method, communication device and system are provided for identifying and scheduling events, such as meetings and appointments identified in data items such as messages and electronic documents. Content relating to an event is identified within the data item, and date information for the identified event is determined based on the content of the data item or other contextual information. An availability status in respect of the event is determined by querying a data store, such as a calendar store, to determine whether the date and time associated with the identified event is free or in conflict. Once the availability status is determined, the data item may be displayed at the communication device together with a visual indicator of the availability status. The identified event in the data item may be actuatable to create an event item for storage in the data store.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to presenting a suggested search query. Responsive to receiving a user-devised search parameter, a suggested search query is identified. The user-devised search parameter might have been previously received by a search system, or alternatively, might be a unique query that has not been previously received. A suggested search query might be generated using various techniques, such as by applying an n-gram language model. A classification of the suggested search query is determined, and the suggested search query is presented together with a visual indicator, which signifies the classification.

Abstract: Techniques describe constructing a location and activity recommendation model to identify relationships between locations and activities. To construct the model, the process obtains global positioning system (GPS) logs of geographical locations collected over time and identifies stay points representing locations visited by an individual user. The process also identifies points of interest in a region using a database and correlates a relationship between activity to activity by submitting queries to a search engine. The information gathered is used to fill locations and activities in a location-activity matrix. Recommendations may be made for a location and/or activity when given a user query, based on a user's present geographical location, or a prediction of a user's interest.

The aggregator server can then parse the raw transaction level data based on a number of transaction level data elements and information requester input.
