Transforming a presentation master file into each of a text file and a variables file can include additionally transforming the presentation master file into a visual markup language document emulating the multimedia presentation. As such, in an aspect of the embodiment, the method further can include detecting an assistive technology, and rendering the visual markup language document in lieu of the slide show.
