The summary column can provide various summations of the patient's data records for any time period depending on where the moveable summation column is placed. The summation of the various patient data depends on the summation parameters defined in the medical flow sheet. The summary column can be moved by the user to any spot in the patient data portion of the medical flow sheet to sum up different intervals of data. The moveable summation column will present summary data for each of the patient parameters as designated by the medical flow sheet developers depending on the placement of the summation column.

Displayed is an annotation in the unsegmented window of the GUI proximate to the node that represents the programming module with which the annotation is associated. Abstract: Optimizing a layout of an electronic document. An electronic document can be processed to identify a plurality of document sections within the document. A plurality of document sections can be recursively combined in at least a first page of a modified document and a presentation size of content within the document sections can be reduced. With each recursive combination of document sections, a first perceptual delta value can be generated based on perceptual differences between the document sections as originally presented in the electronic document and the document sections as presented when combined into the first page. When the first perceptual delta value at least equals the first threshold value, the recursive combination of document sections into the first page can cease.

Abstract: A gathering, manipulating and analyzing tool for reviewing, displaying and creating reports on composite documents, wherein a composite document is made up of multiple component documents. The present method allows for entry and editing of metadata associated with component documents of the composite document. This allows for more highly refined classifying and bookmarking, which leads to more highly refined searching and displaying abilities. A graphical user interface is provided that allows a user to easily designate multiple sections of the composite document and enter and edit the data and metadata associated with the composite document.

Within the workspace of the native application edit session, an end function or button is displayed to the user. Abstract: A system and method for processing attachments to messages sent to a mobile device is described herein. Embodiments described herein apply to encrypted messages comprising multiple message parts, in which different encryption keys (e.g. session keys) have been used to encrypt the different message parts. In at least one example embodiment, the encrypted session keys for every message content part comprising an attachment is received at the mobile device. In one embodiment, all of the encrypted session keys are stored together in a main message header. The mobile device may then decrypt the encrypted session key associated with a user requested attachment, and transmits the decrypted session key to one or more remote servers in an attachment request for use in decrypting the requested attachment. Data associated with the requested attachment, in decrypted form, is returned to the mobile device.
