Abstract: A user input is received by a computing device. An interactive input module determines whether the first user input is a first character of a script for a supported language. If the first user input is a first character, the first character is stored in an input buffer. A plurality of words in the supported language that match a contents of the input buffer are identified, and a subset of the plurality of words are displayed to the user based on a frequency value associated with each of the plurality of words.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method for transitioning between user interface environments. The method may include determining that a user is interacting with a first user interface environment of a computing system and identifying a trigger associated with switching from the first user interface environment of the computing system to a second user interface environment of the computing system. The gameplay reinforces pronunciation and writing of a given language. The minor head graphic is a representation of a human head, or portion thereof, animated to show pronunciation of the highlighted text. Abstract: In some implementations, a mobile device can display map user interface that includes a language control that a user can select to switch between a default language and a local language. Map information presented on the map user interface can be initially displayed in the default language. The user can select or manipulate the language control to cause the map information to be presented on the local language. The local language can be determined based on the current location of the mobile device. The language control can be displayed when it has been determined that the local language is not the default language. In some implementations, when a map search has been performed using the default language, the search can be automatically performed again in the local language in response to the user switching the map information displayed on the map user interface to the local language.

The device includes a housing that is physically contacted by the user and rests on a support surface. An actuator is coupled to the housing and applies a force to the housing approximately along an axis that is substantially perpendicular to the support surface, where the force is transmitted to the user contacting the housing. In one embodiment, the force is an inertial force that is output by moving an inertial mass. The keyboard device can be used in conjunction with another haptic device, such as a mouse, trackball, or joystick.

The Java® applets facilitate manipulation of the viewable portion of reports. The same applets can search data in the viewable and the non-viewable portions of the data set. Sticky notes may be attached to reports or transaction to “follow” the data during storage and provide persistent reminders.
