  • Publication number: 20130239757
Abstract: A rotatable tool handle comprises a first part and a second part which can be switched between an in-line position and an angle position. Further, the locking structure for fixing the first and second parts is disposed between the connecting structures of the first and second parts, so that the engaging points of the first and second parts lie on the rotation axis of the two parts. Moreover, the portion of the first part for forming the recess is harder than the rest of the first part, and the portion of the second part for forming the pivot portion is harder than the rest of the second part, so as to enhance the structural strength of the engaging structure of the first and second parts of the handle.

  • Patent number: 8307741
Abstract: A multi-function tool includes an extendible and retractable portion that becomes offset from a centerline position of the handle when in the offset position. A locking mechanism allows the workman to offset the shaft from a centerline position of the handle, or retract the shaft back into the handle into a centerline position. While the shaft is in the extended and offset position, the shaft rotates freely in either a clockwise or counterclockwise direction. When the shaft is retracted in the straight centerline position, a ratchet mechanism or gear box restricts shaft rotation in either a clockwise or counterclockwise direction, or allows rotation in either direction. The shaft can be extended and offset by means of a spring or other device that allows the locking mechanism to offset automatically or semi-automatically when the locking mechanism is activated. Abstract: A tool assembly includes a front part and a second part. The first part includes a handle and a shank extending from an end of the handle. A polygonal recess is defined in an end of the shank. The rear part includes a rotation unit, a holding unit and a driving unit. The rotation unit is rotatably connected to the holding unit which includes an outer case and an inner case. The outer case includes receiving holes in an end thereof and the receiving holes communicate with storage spaces defined between the inner and outer cases. The driving unit extends through the inner case and the rotation unit. The front part is removably mounted to the shank that extends out from the rotation unit. The rotation unit includes a notch which is moved to be aligned with one of the receiving holes to pick tool out from the storage space.

Abstract: A multi-angle hand tool for a handle includes a shank including a body, and a compartment defined in the body. An operating device includes a connecting end having an engaging portion defined thereon. A guide is mounted in the compartment and includes an embedding portion defined thereon. A connecting device is disposed and interconnected between the operating device and the guide. The multi-angle hand tool has a plurality of operation modes and in each operation mode the operating device is prevented from moving and pivoting with respect to the shank by engaging the engaging portion with the embedding portion. Furthermore, a longitudinal length of the operating device is perpendicular to, or angled to non-perpendicularly, or aligned with the longitudinal length of the body of the shank selectively for different operation modes.

Abstract: A circular, cylindrically shaped tool handle holds multiple sizes of tools. The handle includes one or more holding slots each positioned on the outer surface into which tools are inserted and held. Each holding slot includes one or more contoured compartments in which tools rest when engaged with the handle. Each contoured compartment is of a size and dimension which corresponds to one or more tool sizes. Each contoured compartment is formed about a corresponding receiving hole. A lock is positioned over the contoured compartment to irremovably confine the short leg of the hexagonal wrench within the contoured compartment. Hexagonal shaped tools other than wrenches are able to be used with the handle of the present invention such as screwdrivers and socket wrenches. A tool container stores the tools and the tool handle.

Abstract: A driving tool including a guide groove shaped as a long hole receives a driver bit such that a portion thereof excluding its support is projectable outside of the handle body. The base material has the outline shape of the supporter of the driver bit and is formed so that it might project to the inner side in the inside wall of the circumference wall by the side of the central part of the guide groove of the top plate of the cap. The locking piece is formed in the inner wall of the open end of the cap so that it can stop the rotation part which can prevent a plurality of driver bits from entering the guide groove of the cap.

The shaft allows the workman to interchange bits or sockets for multiple applications.
