Abstract: To make improvements in torque wrenches with a torque limiter that uses a cam mechanism and to provide a torque wrench that realizes more stable operation and is capable of highly precise tightening. In a torque wrench with a torque limiter that uses a cam mechanism, a solid columnar roller member 14 is engaged with a cam part 7 of a cam shaft 8 such that it is rotatably supported by a roller support lever member 12 mounted in a head portion 2 such as to be rotatable around a support shaft 16 and such that it is pressed against the cam part 7 by a spring force transmitting rod 18 biased by a torque setting spring. The roller support lever member 12 is configured such that the distance r2 from the support shaft 16 to a point of application of force of the spring force transmitting rod 18 is longer than the distance r1 from the support shaft 16 to the roller member 14.

  • Patent number: 8371006
Abstract: A system and method for extracting seized components is disclosed. The method further grasping a seized component with a gripping mechanism and securing the gripping mechanism to the seized component by turning a camlock mechanism. A force is applied to a power transfer mechanism that moves a threaded axis that is threaded through the power transfer mechanism. The method additionally includes attaching the threaded axis to the gripping mechanism, which extracts the seized component. To facilitate extraction, the method also includes generating vibrations by a vibration mechanism, which may include a vibration mechanism rotating a rotary plate about a shaft. The method may also include generating vibrations by a cam attached to the rotary plate contacting one or more spring-loaded hammers. The spring-loaded hammers may be capable of impacting a strike plate, generating vibrations.

Abstract: In a multi-function tool structure, a body and a work rod are pivotally connected together and can form a folded and retracted state. Moreover, an elastically movable press button is disposed on the body and can link up a positioning pin movably inserted into the work rod. Thus, pressing the press button can release a lock between the work rod and the positioning pin so that the work rod is swingable, while releasing the press button can lock the positioning pin and the work rod together again. Thus, the work rod and the body can be folded and retracted to facilitate the storage and carrying. After the work rod is developed, it can form multiple included angles with respect to the body so that the requirements of different operation angles can be satisfied.

Abstract: A tool, the Simple Socket, which will with the installation of a fastener on or into its intended receiver while also holding another object, most often a washer(s), in axial alignment with the fastener. An elastic sleeve surrounds a fastener driver with a lip extending beyond the fastener. If the fastener is of an internal drive configuration, the tool includes a tube that mounts on the fastener driver and extends over the shank of the driver and the sleeve is axial mounted to the tube. The extended lip of the sleeve retains the washer in axial alignment with the fastener while it is advanced on or into its intended receiver. The driver may accept another tool opposite the fastener to apply torque. The elastic sleeve also provides dielectric insulation surrounding the tool.
