    Abstract: A wrench includes a locking mechanism that provides variable locking positions. The wrench has handles that are rotatably connected such that a closing motion of the handles allows the wrench to grip workpieces as desired by moving a plurality of jaw elements inward toward the workpiece. The locking mechanism advantageously allows the jaws and handles of the wrench to be locked precisely on any size workpiece within the working range of the wrench. Related methods are also described.

    Abstract: A driver including a handle, lever, swivel cap, shaft, and a tip mechanically connected to the lever configured to engage a screw. Engaging the lever causes the tip to either compress or expand so as to lock the screw to the driver. According to one exemplary embodiment, the cap can be translated releasing the lever, thereby releasing the screw from the tip. According to one embodiment, the cap is a swivel cap allowing for jeweler style use. Advantages of the present system and method, according to various embodiments, include a tip compressing a feature that is within an outer diameter of the screw allowing a driver, or a portion thereof, to have a maximum diameter equal to or smaller than the maximum diameter of a screw.

The resilient member is disposed between the tail portion and the connection end to bias the tail portion away from the connection end so that the lower jaw portion is biased toward the upper jaw portion.

    Abstract: A screwdriver grip including a tool section, a connecting section and a grip. A front end of the tool section is disposed with a working section and a rear end of the tool section is formed with a pivot section pivotally connected with a pivot cavity of the connecting section, whereby the tool section can be pivotally rotated relative to the connecting section. The grip is back and forth sliably fitted on the connecting section. A locating member is disposed between the connecting section and the grip. When the grip is moved forward or rearward to a certain position, the locating member fixedly locates the grip on the connecting section. The grip can be moved rearward and the connecting section can be pivotally rotated by a certain angle for a user to easily hold the grip. Alternatively, the grip can be moved forward to shorten the length of the screwdriver.
