Abstract: A lubricating liquid separator which can damp compressor pulsation noise effectively and improve the lubricating liquid separating performance without greatly enlarging the size of the separator itself. A demister having a sound absorbing performance is disposed on an outer periphery of a partition plate. Compressed gas which enters the interior of a housing through a compressed gas inlet port flows as rotating flow in a flow path between the partition plate and a portion of a side wall of the housing opposed to the partition plate. Pressure pulsation of the compressed gas is diminished by the demister, and a compressor pulsation noise by the rotating flow of the compressed gas is diminished by the sound absorption of the demister. Further, with the demister, reflection of the compressed gas at a wall surface of the partition plate is suppressed, and scattering of lubricating liquid separated from the compressed gas is suppressed.
