The search results are characterized along a scale from social information to professional information. The search results are filtered based on the received value indicative of the desired level and the characterization of each item of results found. The filtered search results are displayed.

The header assembly is comprised of an insulative body that is mountable on the housing of the medical device. The insulative body supports at least one conductor subassembly comprising a terminal that is directly connectable to the conductor lead, an intermediate conductor wire comprising a distal end connected to the terminal and a proximal end connected to a connector sleeve. Methods for making the header assembly and for connecting the header assembly to the implantable medical device are also disclosed.

    Abstract: A novel hybrid probe design is presented that comprises a torsion element and a bending element. These elements allow the probe to store the displacement energy as torsion or as bending. The novel hybrid probe comprises a probe base, a torsion element, a bending element, and a probe tip. The probe elastically deforms to absorb the displacement energy as the probe tip contacts the DUT contact pad. The bending element absorbs some of the displacement energy through bending. Because the torsion element and the bending element join at an angle between ?90 degrees and 90 degrees, a portion of the displacement energy is transferred to the torsion element causing it to twist (torque). The torsion element can also bend to accommodate the storage of energy through torsion and bending. Also, adjusting the position of a pivot can be manipulated to alter the energy absorption characteristics of the probe. One or more additional angular elements may be added to change the energy absorption characteristics of the probe.

    Abstract: A method of countering side-channel attacks on an elliptic curve cryptosystem (ECC) is provided. The method comprises extending a definition field of an elliptic curve of the ECC to an extension ring in a first field; generating a temporary ciphertext in the extension ring and countering attacks on the ECC; and generating a final ciphertext for the first field if a fault injection attack on the ECC is not detected. The countering of attacks on the ECC may comprise countering a power attack on the ECC. Checking if there is a fault injection attack on the ECC may be performed by determining if the temporary ciphertext satisfies a second elliptic curve equation. The fault detection algorithms takes place in a small subring of the extension ring, not in the original field, to minimize the computational overhead. The method can improve the stability of the ECC and reduce computational overhead of the ECC.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a bone plate designed to secure locking screws inserted into the plate at various angles. The interior wall surface of the plate apertures include a series of protruding threaded ridges interspaced by relief notches. The threaded ridges and intermediate relief notches of the bone plate in combination with the threaded ridges and intermediate relief notches of the locking screw head allow the locking screw to bypass or “jump” threads of the bone plate. Thus, the locking screw can be inserted into the bone plate at a first angle and part-way through its advancement along the threads of the bone plate that angle can be changed. The second angle can either be greater than the first with respect to an orientation perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the bone plate, or less than. This gives the physician a great amount of flexibility during a surgical procedure.
