  • Patent number: 7736845
Abstract: The invention relates to a method of treatment of collagenous connective tissue removed from a donor for implant into a recipient which is re-habited or re-colonized by host cells without an immune rejection and inflammatory reaction. After removal from the donor the tissue is trimmed and thereafter soaked in a cold stabilizing solution having a temperature range of 4 to 10 degrees centigrade. The tissue is then soaked at a predetermined temperature in a polyglycol, salt, hydrogen peroxide, and phosphate buffer first solution of predetermined quantities and concentrations and of sufficient ionic strength to permit ground substances to dissociate such that the collagen fibers remain stable. The tissue is then soaked in an alcohol and water solution at a predetermined temperature for a sufficient period of time to remove the residue of the first solution.

  • Patent number: 7734068
Abstract: An improved electronic lock box system is provided for more secure control over the accessibility of a secure compartment in the electronic lock box, which is typically used to store a dwelling key. The new system uses biometric identification sensors to determine if the correct, authorized user is attempting to access the secure compartment of the electronic lock box. In one embodiment, the biometric identification sensor uses thermal scanning to detect a person's fingerprint pattern. This is compared to previously stored (enrollment) biometric identification information/data, and if the “live” (observed) biometric identification information/data sufficiently correlates to the stored enrollment biometric identification information/data, access will be granted.

  • Patent number: 7717279
Abstract: A slatwall track, which comprises a horizontally elongated assembly of uniform thickness and has a front and a back side, incorporates an upwardly extending member, retracted from the front side, for intermeshing with a downwardly extending member, coplanar with the front side, of another above located slatwall track. The slatwall track further incorporates one or more channel subassemblies for supporting items. The channel subassemblies are generally followed downwardly by rigidity boxes. A member for stopping projecting backwardly from the downwardly extending member limits an upward movement of a lower slatwall rack during intermeshing. The spacing between an outside extremity of the member for stopping and a wall to which the slatwall track is secured and the spacing between the upwardly extending member and the same wall are equal and correspond to a thickness of a panel intended to be inserted, between two slatwall tracks, into these spacings.

  • Patent number: 7686956
Abstract: The invention is directed to a water purification system to remove pollutants from surface run-off water that has flowed into storm water drainage channels. A tank having an open reservoir region is positioned in the drainage channel or adjacent to the channel so as to permit water to flow through an upstream port of the tank and pool within the open reservoir region. The tank has a downstream port through which water pooled within the reservoir region may flow if the level of the pooled water sufficiently increases as a result of a rise in the flow level of the water in the drainage channel. The open reservoir region contains bioremediation plants having the physical property of removing pollutants from the pooled run-off water contained in the reservoir region.

  • Patent number: 7658310
Abstract: An improved fabrication apparatus is provided for the placing screws accurately and reliably into body panels of cargo trailers. The apparatus uses a template that is positioned over the aluminum body panels of a cargo trailer to guide the placement of automatic screwdriver tools, so that the body panels are quickly and accurately mounted to vertical ribs that are part of the framework of the trailer. The invention includes a fabrication fixture that holds the template at predetermined positions to align the template with the ribs of the trailer's framework.

  • Patent number: 7648178
Abstract: A connector for joining agricultural drip tape. The connector includes a rigid tubular body having a tapered trust conical enlargement at its free end over which the free end of the drip tape is pressed and held by an assembly nut having a single entry female thread that threadably engages the tubular body male threads by a pre-determined angular advance of the assembly nut. The environment of use for agricultural drip tape is one of debris and mud consequently; the assembly nut contains a wiper window opening through which debris and mud are expelled from the connection as the assembly nut advances axially along the threads of the tubular body. Indicia on both the assembly nut and on the tubular body may be relatively positioned depending upon the thickness of the tape to form a consistently reliable seal.

  • Patent number: 7630805
Abstract: A vehicle control system includes a housed sensor cluster generating a plurality of signals. An integrated controller includes a sensor signal compensation unit and a kinematics unit, wherein the sensor signal compensation unit receives at least one of the plurality of signals and compensates for an offset within the signal and generates a compensated signal as a function thereof. The integrated controller further generates a kinematics signal including a sensor frame with respect to an intermediate axis system as a function of the compensated signal and generates a vehicle frame signal as a function of the kinematics signal. A dynamic system controller receives the vehicle frame signal and generates a dynamic control signal in response thereto. A safety device controller receives the dynamic control signal and further generates a safety device signal in response thereto.

  • Patent number: 7597297
Abstract: The system comprises a rod subassembly for suspending articles, supported at extremities by a holding subassembly. The former includes a hollow rod having along its length an upper recessed zone similar to a circular segment and incorporates at each lateral extremity a continuous, capturing recess extending towards an interior of the rod. A protection insert is placed on the zone and retained by the recesses. The rod is covered with longitudinal corrugations. The holding subassembly includes a bracket for attaching to an external recipient and a sleeve flange for supporting the rod and for interengaging with the bracket. The bracket includes a wedge-shaped element, while the sleeve flange has a flange with a recess complimentary to the foregoing element.
