Abstract: A hinge has a first bracket, a pivot pin, a second bracket and two torsion spring assemblies. The first bracket has a support and two holders. The pivot pin is mounted rotatably through the support and the holders on the base of the first bracket. The second bracket is mounted to the pivot pin. The torsion spring assemblies are mounted on the pivot pin and correspond respectively to the holders on the first bracket. Each torsion spring assembly has a disk and a torsion spring. The disk is mounted securely to the pivot pin and has a spring hook. The torsion spring is mounted around the pivot pin and has two ends. One end is mounted securely on the corresponding holder, and the other end is engaged detachably with the spring hook on the disk. The torsion springs provide a recovering force to keep the pivot pin from pivoting inadvertently.

Abstract: A food product, preferably a food ingredient in the form of dye, pigment or similar colorant in a random pattern in refrigerated yogurt, is produced by supplying the food ingredient through a supply tube (82) extending through an injection tube (80) and into a fill pipe (78) and a fill tube (28). In the preferred form, an elongated tubular member is formed around the fill tube (28) from a strip (20) of flexible material, with top and bottom seals being formed by a forming station (36). In the preferred form, the injection tube (80) extends at an angle to the fill pipe (78) such that the supply tube (82) formed of stainless steel is generally linearly straight. The fill pipe (78) includes seal flanges (78a, 78b) allowing its removal from the food material supply tubing (68) and the fill tube (28) to allow conventional cleaning of the remaining components of the apparatus (10).

Abstract: A block test stand includes a body having a base and two rods each having a first end secured on the base and a second end having a barrel laterally secured on the two rods. A bearing member is partially slidably received in the barrel. The bearing member includes a piston cap slidably received in the barrel, and a piston is received in the piston cap and extends through the barrel. A connector is secured on a distal end of the piston. A bearing seat is connected to the connector. The bearing seat includes a block and a spheroid secured on the block. The spheroid is partially universally received in the socket in the connector and a concentric ring is sleeved on the connector and secured on the block to hold the block in place.

Abstract: A wrench includes a rod, a retainer, and a casing for accommodating the retainer and allowing relative pivotal movement between the casing and the retainer. The rod includes a driving portion on an end thereof for engaging with a fastener. The retainer has a first end securely mounted to the rod to turn therewith and a second end. An engaging member is mounted in the casing and biased to engage with the second end of the retainer, thereby exerting an engaging force between the second end of the retainer and the engaging member. When a rotational force applied to the casing is smaller than the engaging force, the retainer and the rod are turned to thereby turn the fastener. When a rotational force applied to the casing is greater than the engaging force, the casing slides relative to the retainer while the retainer and the rod are not turned.

Abstract: A movable blind fastened to the interior of an automobile comprises a cradle in the bottom and a bracket in each end of the cradle, with each bracket having a recess. Two engagement members each have a projection fitted into the recess and a double trough. Two plate members each have two pairs of opposite protuberances, a stop between the pairs of protuberances, and a shaft, with the protuberances and the stop being fastened to the double trough. Two pivot members each have slots disposed around a central bore and an enclosed box portion having transverse grooves disposed circumferentially. Two abutment members each have a central hole with the shaft inserted to fit in the central bore of pivot member and with the ridges engaged with the transverse grooves of the box portion. A blind cloth is fastened between a cross bar on the top and the cradle. The cross bar has a central activation member.

Abstract: An adjustable skate includes a boot, a liner, and a bladder. The boot includes an upper and a sole, the upper having a toe cap and a heel portion. The liner is mounted in the boot and includes a bottom plate slidably mounted on the sole and a toe box on a front end of the bottom plate. A chamber for receiving a foot of a wearer's foot is defined between the toe box of the liner and the heel portion of the boot. The bladder is mounted between the toe box of the liner and the toe cap of the boot. The bladder has a volume that is adjustable through inflation of air into the bladder or discharge of air out of the bladder, thereby moving the liner along a lengthwise direction of the boot.

The outer assembly includes an outside lever handle, an outside spindle, and an outside rose liner from which two engaging posts extend. The latch mechanism includes a housing and a latch bolt. A reinforcing plate includes two pegs respectively extending through two positioning holes of the housing. The reinforcing plate further includes a central hole through which the outside spindle extends. The reinforcing plate further includes a pair of slots through which the engaging posts extend. Two fasteners are extended through the inside rose liner and engaged with the engaging posts. Each of the inside lever handle and the outside lever handle are located in a position that inclines upward and at 45 degrees with a horizontal axis.

Abstract: A body exerciser includes a main body structure, a gravity mechanism, and a restoring mechanism. Thus, the body exerciser may be used to exercise the user's two hands, thereby achieving an exercising effect. In addition, by operation of the restoring mechanism, each of the two pull cords may be scrolled on each of the reels actually, thereby preventing the two pull cords from becoming loosened.

Abstract: A lighter includes a casing with liquid gas received therein and an igniting member is located in the casing for igniting the gas released from a light hole in a top of the casing. An activation piece is pivotably connected between two walls of the casing and a cap is connected to the activation piece and engaged between the two walls of the top of the casing. A stop is located at an edge of the cap and contacts an edge of the casing to prevent the cap from being pushed before it is slid to skip the stop from the edge of the casing.

Abstract: An umbrella frame has a hollow shaft, an upper runner disposed on the hollow shaft, a lower runner receiving the hollow shaft, a winding device inserted through the hollow shaft, a pulley disposed on the hollow shaft, and a thread connected to the pulley and the winding device. A plurality of ribs are connected to the upper runner. A plurality of stretchers are connected to the lower runner and the ribs. A handle engages with the winding device.

Abstract: A wrench comprises a handle and a head extended from the handle. A web is defined between the handle and the head. The head includes a compartment in which a drive member is rotatably received. The web includes a transverse through-hole having an intermediate portion communicated with the compartment. A cavity is defined in the web and communicated with the transverse through-hole. A switch member is mounted in the cavity and rotatable relative to the handle between two positions corresponding to two opposite ratcheting directions of the handle. A pawl is slidably mounted in the transverse through-hole for engaging with the drive member. The pawl remains in the transverse through-hole during operation.

Abstract: A solder ball holding terminal has a first plate, a second plate and a third plate integrally formed with and sandwiched between the first plate and the second plate. The first plate has a first distal end, the second plate has a second distal end and the third plate has a third distal end and a fourth distal end. A distance between the third distal end and the fourth distal end is much smaller than that between the first distal end and the second distal end such that when a solder ball is inserted into a space defined among the first distal end, the second distal end, the third distal end and the fourth distal end, a substantially three-point support is provided to the solder ball so that the solder ball is securely clamped.
