Abstract: The invention relates to a water craft comprising a kite element, which is connected to the water craft by a traction cable. The water craft is characterized in that the kite element is equipped with adjusting devices and an energy generation unit, which delivers energy when the tractive force that is exerted on the traction cable is modified.
Abstract: A device for producing a multi-component compound, in particular for dental purposes, by mixing its components after they have been pressed out of cartridges which open into a dynamic mixer and are arranged exchangeably in the device, with a first motor for advancing all of the pistons assigned to the cartridges, and with a second motor for rotary driving of mixing elements in the mixer via a shaft, which is held in engagement with the mixer by spring pretensioning and can be pulled back from the mixer counter to the spring pretensioning, is characterized in that the shaft is provided with a radially extending projection which, by the spring pretensioning, is pressed onto a ramp-like upwardly sloping cam surface, which is provided on its foot with an abutment surface, of a toothed wheel, which is provided with saw-like teeth and is coaxial to the shaft, which toothed wheel, in a first angle direction in which the cam surface slopes upwards, is prevented from rotating by a catch and, in the second angle positi

Abstract: A drying mill for powdered or fine-grained material, in particular also suitable for calcining gypsum, employs a housing, in which a feed device for fuel gas, opening into a lower region, a comminuting device and a material inlet, charging the material onto the comminuting device from above, are provided one above the other, a material outlet leading to the outside from an upper region of a working chamber and a return leading downwards to the comminuting device, the comminuting device being a centrifugal disc which rotates in a horizontal plane and interacts with an impact casing arranged on the inside of the housing. A nozzle ring surrounding the centrifugal disc from below is provided for feeding fuel gas into the working chamber. As a result, the calcining process in particular is assisted in an efficient way by utilizing the thermal energy of the hot gas fed into the working chamber by means of the nozzle ring and the dwell time in the working chamber. A corresponding comminuting method is provided.
Abstract: An electric plug having a central signal shaft terminating in a tip, wherein the tip has a substantially frustoconical nose, a convex annular shoulder centered at an axial distance of less than 0.120 inch from the front end of the tip, (defining a bulbous portion) and a concave waist having a radius of curvature greater than about 0.75 inch, defining the detent adjacent to the bulbous portion.
Abstract: A cable conduit system for a building frame structure having a bottom plate associated with each floor and a top plate associated with each ceiling. The system comprises a conduit stud and first and second header plates. The conduit stud has at least one cavity extending longitudinally from a first end to a second end. The first header plate is adapted to be fixedly mounted to an upper surface of the frame structure bottom plate and the second plate is adapted to be fixedly mounted to a lower surface of the frame structure top plate, respectively. The first end portion of the conduit stud is locked to the first header plate and the second end portion of the conduit stud is locked to the second header plate.

Abstract: A finger and hand exerciser includes a housing defining four chambers arranged side-by-side in parallel with one another. Each chamber receives a tension adjustment member, a plunger that is reciprocatingly slidable in the chamber, and a helically wound compression spring extending between the plunger and the tension adjustment member. Each tension adjustment member includes a knurled wheel which the user of the finger and hand exerciser may turn to decrease or increase the force the spring exerts on the plunger.
Abstract: A combination of a capo with attached tuner having a sensor that picks up vibrations through the capo. The capo and tuner are connected together as a unitary accessory that is attachable along the neck of the guitar, in the manner of a conventional capo, but with the significant advantage of automatic and continuous visibility of the tuner display while tuning at a particular capo position and while pausing between songs.

Abstract: An aggregometer for measuring and recording platelet aggregation with at least one measurement cuvette having two electrodes, with a device for moving the liquid to be examined and with measurement and evaluation electronics connected to the electrodes via contact elements, is characterized in that the measurement cuvette comprises two adjacently arranged, upwardly open partial spaces which are only connected to one another in the lower region, in that the electrodes are designed as metal spheres inserted in the bottom of the measurement cuvette and in that the device for moving the liquid is a pumping device which can be placed on one of the partial spaces in a substantially sealing manner and which periodically and alternately generates low and excess pressure.
Abstract: An artificial stone material having an improved natural stone appearance and texture is prepared from resin, curing agent, microspheres and additives. The resin, curing agent and microspheres are mixed to form a catalyzed base material. Additives are non-homogeneously worked into the catalyzed base material to provide a catalyzed stone mixture having a desired natural stone appearance. The catalyzed stone mixture is molded or applied to a surface at the point of use and allowed to cure to form the artificial stone material.
