Abstract: Method and system for moving a frozen adhesive particle towards a target body, comprising launching means (13) which are arranged to launch the particle (2) in its frozen form towards the target body (3, 4) via a movement path (14) through a gap (15) between the launching means and the target body. The medium in the gap may have a temperature above the adhesive particle's melting temperature. The launching means may be arranged to launch the particle at a high speed. The launching means and the target body may have a geometry causing that the movement path is substantially vertical or substantially horizontal.

Abstract: A headset (1; 101; 102) comprising a housing (2; 102; 103) and a microphone arm (3; 103; 203). The microphone arm (3; 103; 203) is connected to a hinge member (4; 104; 204), which is pivotally connected to the housing (2; 102; 103) such that the microphone arm (3; 103; 203) can be rotated about a first pivot axis (P1; P101; P201) between a first position, in which it lies along a first surface (9; 109; 209) of the housing (2; 102; 202) and a second, extended position in which it extends away from the housing (3; 103; 203). The headset is further provided with a switch (19), which is operably connected to the microphone arm (3; 103; 203) or the hinge member (4; 104; 204), such that a rotation of the microphone arm (3; 103; 203) from the first position to the second position or vice versa activates the switch (19) and changes headset mode.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a flexible grinding product and a method of producing the same. Such a grinding product comprises a flexible underlay (1) which consists of two layers laminated to each other. These comprise a lower base layer (2) and an upper layer (3), a cavity layer. The underlay includes a top surface (5) having at least one adhesive layer (6) arranged thereto after lamination and a layer of grinding agent (7) applied by means of the adhesive layer. The grinding product is characterized in that the layer that is coated with grinding agent includes holes which form cavities (4), whereby the cavities provide space for grinding dust and grinding residues and facilitate their removal from the surface being ground.

Abstract: A grating has a high diffraction efficiency into the minus first diffracted order in transmission, for both TE and TM polarizations. The incident angle may optionally be chosen so that the minus first diffracted order in reflection would be retroreflected back to the incident beam. The grating may be formed from various materials and/or layers, where the thicknesses of the individual layers may be determined by an optimization or simulation process. In one aspect, the grating may have four or more layers, formed with three or more materials. In another aspect, the grating may have a longitudinal refractive index profile that contains at least two local extrema, such as a maximum and/or minimum. Such a grating may be formed from three or more materials, two materials, or a single material that has a continuously varying refractive index. Any or all of the materials may have a continuously varying refractive index profile, as well.

Abstract: Disclosed is a multi-function paper handling device primarily for use on pronged papers holders, typically two-pronged, which normally employ a compressor plate to hold papers which are spindled on the prongs. Instead of a compressor plate, the device replaces that function while simultaneously providing a hole punch which provides the holes for the prongs. The punch can also include an alignment guide, a letter opener or other features. A method of manufacture is also disclosed.
Abstract: A light unit includes a bulb having a light source with lead wires and a separator, a switch member that includes a support member and a pair of spring terminals, and a socket having two or more conductive terminals and adapted to receive the bulb and the switch member. The switch member is adapted to cause the pair of spring terminals to contact one another to form an electrical short circuit across the pair of conductive terminals and the light source when the bulb is completely or partially removed from the socket. The lead wires form an electrical connection across the conductive terminals and the separator breaks contact between the pair of spring terminals when the bulb is seated in the socket.

Abstract: A communication unit, e.g. a headset, constructed as a slave station which may be coupled to a plurality of master stations, e.g. a mobile telephone, via a short-ranged communications connection, such as of the Bluetooth type or the DECT type, and has a plurality of address fields in which one or more identification keys may be stored. At least one of the address fields has an associated electrical lock which may be unlocked only by an adapter master station having a unique indentification key. It is also possible to “lift” the receiver of the public switched telephone electrically or mechanically via the headset, so that a call and conversations from the public switched telephone may be made and take place via the headset. In an embodiment, the coupling box has a recess in which the headset may be placed and be charged via a charging unit in the coupling boy.
