Abstract: The invention consists in the use, in a process of manufacture of GCC and PCC co-ground in water, of a co-grinding agent characterised in that: a) it is constituted by a least one homopolymer and/or at least one copolymer of acrylic acid, which is partially neutralised, of which the rate of molar neutralisation is less than 75% of the total acid functions, b) and in that it is introduced: during the stage of preparation of the aqueous suspensions of GCC and PCC, and/or during stage 2) of co-grinding, and possibly during the stage of co-grinding and another stage of concentration, and possibly during this other stage of concentration. The invention also lies in the resulting aqueous suspensions of GCC and PCC, in the dry pigments of GCC and PCC obtained, and in the use of these products in paper, paint, rubber and plastic.
Abstract: A method for automatic trading of foreign exchange currencies including the steps of: receiving first signals at an order receiver based on one or more orders for foreign exchange currency trades; sending second signals from an order configuration tool that provides for selection of a preferred execution method for each of the foreign exchange trades using an algorithm; and executing each of the foreign exchange trades based on received third signals relating to a respective determined preferred execution method.

Abstract: The invention constituting the subject matter of this application is related to the production method and process regarding any and all products created by forming the EPDM rubber including a mixture of ethylene, propylene and diene by using heat and particularly the seal of the door gasket, which is a part of the washing machines.
Abstract: The invention relates to an image sensor for electronic cameras, having a plurality of light-sensitive pixels for the generation of at least one signal proportional to exposure, wherein the pixels are coupled to a read-out circuit having at least one amplifier and configured to amplify the at least one signal of a respective pixel with different amplification factors to generate differently amplified signals for the at least one signal of a respective pixel, wherein the read-out circuit has at least one output to output at least some of the differently amplified signals as output signals.

Abstract: Provided is a fastener element for securing a curing blanket over the open upper end of a concrete form. The fastener element comprises a wire body including a central portion extending laterally for at least the distance of the width of the concrete form and a pair of attachment portions at opposite ends of the central portion. The attachment portions secure the fastener element to the outer walls of the concrete form.
Abstract: A wristband wirelessly connects to a mobile phone allowing a user to talk on the mobile phone by using the wristband. The wristband includes a transmitter/receiver, a speaker and a microphone. The transmitter/receiver wirelessly pairs with the mobile phone. When the mobile phone receives an incoming call, a signal is sent to a vibrator housed within the transmitter/receiver and causes the wristband to vibrate. To connect to the call, a user can push a button located on the wristband or stretch the speaker piece and place the speaker in between his/her fingers. To disconnect from the call, the user can push the button or alternatively, release the speaker piece from in between his/her fingers which automatically triggers the transmitter/receiver to disconnect from the call.
Abstract: A bilateral data transfer system comprising a first node, a second node, a first one-way link for unidirectional transfer of first data from the first node to the second node, and a second one-way link for unidirectional transfer of second data from the second node to the first node, wherein the unidirectional transfer of the first data across the first one-way link and the unidirectional transfer of the second data across the second one-way link are independently administered by the bilateral data transfer system. Under such bilateral data transfer system, each of the one-way data links may be subject to separately administered security restrictions and data filtering processes. Hence, it enables secure bilateral communications across different network security domains.
