Abstract: A container assembly for a motor vehicle passenger compartment includes a housing, a door, an arm, a helical spring and a cam. The door is pivotally coupled to the housing for movement about a first pivot between a closed position wherein the door covers an opening in the housing and an open position wherein the door is pivoted about the first pivot to allow access through the opening to a storage space in the housing. The arm is pivotally coupled to the housing for movement about a second pivot. The arm has a cam surface. The helical spring continuously biases the arm toward the first pivot. The cam is coupled to the door and movable with the door about the first pivot between the closed position and the open position. The cam has a center portion and a lobe extending outwardly from the center portion. The lobe remains in contact with the cam surface of the arm.

Abstract: A tamper-evident evidence bag including a blank having first and second planar shaped and pivotally connected panels. The bag has an open perimeter edge and is secured to first selected lacing surfaces of the pivotally connected panels and such that an interior of the bag is communicable through an aperture defined between the panels. The first and second panels are folded from an open position, in which they panels are established in a substantially parallel relationship, to a closed position in which opposingly facing surfaces of are adhered against one another and in order to maintain, in tamper-evident fashion, items placed within the bag enclosure. Additional tamper-evident resealing structure is located along at least one facing side of the associated bag material, allowing documentable re-entry of the pre-sealed evidence bag.
Abstract: The catalyst smell reducing control in which the fuel cutoff is performed is not executed regardless of the catalyst smelling flag Fs1 equal to ‘1’ (step S140) when the vehicle speed V becomes less than the preset vehicle speed Vref (step S130) while the catalyst deterioration reducing control in which the fuel cutoff is prohibited is being executed (step S150). Such control prevents from executing the catalyst smell reducing control while the suspension of the catalyst deterioration reducing control and prevents performing the fuel cutoff after performing a fuel injection and performing the fuel injection again for a relatively short time in the internal combustion engine.
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a fuel cell separator, the method including: subjecting the peripheral surfaces other than the respective gas passages of a pair of separator substrates formed from stainless steel to a cathodic electrolytic treatment within an alkali solution, thereby forming an iron-based hydrated oxide film on the peripheral surfaces of the pair of separator substrates (S200), conducting a water treatment by wetting the surface of the iron-based hydrated oxide film with water (S202), performing electrodeposition coating of an electrocoating material containing an aqueous resin onto at least one of the water-treated iron-based hydrated oxide films provided on the pair of separator substrates (S204), and baking the aqueous resin obtained by electrodeposition coating (S206).

Abstract: A tamper-evident retaining device for use with articles of evidence having a base sheet and a secondary sheet connected along conjoined bottoms. A top closure includes a central panel secured along a top of the base sheet, first and second side panels extending from opposite edges of the central panel and pivotally opened in a first position. First and second side flaps extend from the sides of the base sheet such that, upon pre-placement of the evidence article upon the base sheet and subsequent folding up of the secondary sheet to overlay the base sheet, the flaps are inwardly folded to secure, in tamper evident fashion, said sides of said of said secondary sheet to said sides of said base sheet. The side panels are then pivoted inwardly and in overlaying fashion against the central panel in a second position to secure, in tamper evident fashion, the top of the base and secondary sheets.

Abstract: A hand-held inter-auto display device includes a handle portion and an interconnecting and substantially planar display portion. A plurality of individual sheets, each displaying at least a portion of a selected message, are displayed from at least one side of the planar display portion. A visual enhancement element, including any of LED elements, phosphorescent coatings or reflective lettering, is associated with at least one of the handle, display portion and sheets to better display a selected message of an exposed sheet supported upon the display portion.
Abstract: A method and system for optimizing the manufacturing workforce and reducing workforce boredom in an assembly plant is provided. A master database contains all the plant workers along with all of the assembly tasks required to be performed at the assembly plant for a predetermined period, a repetitive threshold value for each worker, and a burden value for each assembly task. Each worker is assigned to a particular assembly task based upon the attributes of the worker and the assembly task requirements. A first schedule is generated by matching assembly tasks to a worker. The first schedule is then used to generate a second schedule such that workers do not exceed a repetitive value threshold or a burden value threshold. Thus the method and system generates schedules such that workers are given a variety of assembly tasks and therefore are not bored by performing the same task repetitively.
