Abstract: A suitable design is given of a closure damper for a sanitary water fitting, especially in the form of a single-handle mixing unit, with a casing, an activation handle, and with a control unit presenting a disk, piston, balls, or the like, as well as a closure damper to extend the closure time and reduce the closure rate arranged between the handle and the fitting casing, whereby the closure damper is designed as a piston and cylinder unit. It is provided for watertight membrane (20) to surround piston and cylidner unit (16, 17) outside, connected with cylinder (16) on the one hand and piston (17) on the other, watertight in both cases, which forms membrane chamber (24) when piston (17) is pushed in, and a flow connection exists between inside space (25) of cylinder (16) sealed against piston (17) and the outside of cylinder (16) encircled by membrane (20).
Abstract: A web protection system for a sink having at least first and second sink basins separated by a partition wall with the partition wall having an upper horizontal surface. The system includes an elongated web protector having a U-shaped cross-section which fits over and protects the partition wall. A colander having a pocket to hang over the partition wall is also provided. The colander can be used with the web protector or a separate adapter to fit properly over the partition wall.
Abstract: An integral unit for mounting complete wall-mounted sanitary appliances comprises a flat profiled support (1) and a sectional box structure (3) which are intended to be fixed to a wall (5) one below the other, the first (1) of which is intended to support both a sanitary appliance and corresponding accessories (13), which are received in the box structure (3). The support (1) comprises two lateral elements (6; 66) for its fixing to the wall (5), and a central channel-shaped body (4) for containing the water feed and waste pipes (15), with said lateral elements (6; 66) there being associated two rods (88) for fixing and supporting the corresponding appliance (2; 20; 200).
Abstract: The present invention discloses a control box for enclosing at least one main control circuit electrically connected to at least one or more electrically-controllable function providing operating units mounted through or operably connected to a jetted tub. The control box in general comprises a high voltage compartment and a low voltage compartment, separated by a partition having at least one access opening to permit electrical connection of at least one control unit to a high voltage terminal block installed in the high voltage compartment. Another aspect of the present invention concerns a control system for use with the jetted tub having one or more function providing operating units electrically connected to the control system. The control system comprises a control box having high and low voltage compartments separated by a partition.
Abstract: A molded article is disclosed. The molded article includes a shell having a reservoir, a deck surrounding the reservoir and an apron. The shell has an exterior non-finish side and an interior finish side. The non-finish side of the shell is coated with a polymeric material. The polymeric material forms a layer on the non-finish side of the shell. The polymeric layer which is formed on the non-finish of the apron of the shell includes a rectangular area of reduced thickness and covers most of the surface of the apron. The periphery of the area of reduced thickness is surrounded by a lip having a chamfer of approximately 45.degree.. The weight of the molded article is reduced, while strength and rigidity are maintained.
