  • Patent number: 4740693
Abstract: Disclosed is an electron beam pattern line width measurement system wherein an electron beam is converged to a fine spot, the electron beam is scanned on a sample formed with a pattern to-be-measured, secondary electrons generated from a surface of the sample by the projection of the electron beam are detected, and the detected signal is processed to determine a line width of the pattern to-be-measured, comprising a secondary electron detector which detects a signal corresponding to an amount of all secondary electrons generated by the scanning, and a secondary electron energy analyzer which selectively detects a signal corresponding to an amount of secondary electrons of specified energy. With the electron beam pattern line width measurement system, it becomes possible to precisely detect a pattern boundary region defined by different sorts of materials in a stepped structure of a small level difference not having been measurable with a prior-art electron beam pattern line width measurement system.

  • Patent number: 4739390
Abstract: A television signal processing circuit which separates a television signal into a luminance signal and a chrominance signal or interpolates the scanning lines of the television signal by using a video memory such as a frame memory or a field memory. The circuit determines whether the television signal to be treated is a standard television signal or a non-standard television signal. Depending upon this determination, the signal processing circuit changes its operation mode so that it operates properly even in case the television signal is different from the standard television signal and contains jitter in the time axis like the signal from a VTR. When the television signal is a non-standard television signal, the processing circuit without the video memory operates.

  • Patent number: 4739125
Abstract: An electric component part has its lead terminals bent in thickness directions in a middle section thereof at least two positions so that a step section virtually in parallel to the bottom of a circuit substrate is formed with the intention of absorbing the external force applied to the part by chaging the shape of the lead terminals. Increase in the part layout area due to the formation of the horizontal step section can be avoided, when necessary, by shifting the terminal lead out position on the component part inward thereby to minimize the jetty dimensions.
