  • Patent number: 5123244
Abstract: A hydrostatic transmission with a pair of pump/motor connected in a closed loop state by a pair of hydrostatic circuit. The hydrostatic transmission comprises a differential pressure detecting means which detects the differential pressure between the circuits and a displacement correcting means which, in case an operation to establish a neutral status has been carried out, controls the displacement volume of the pump/motor on the side where the pumping action is carried out toward a direction in which the magnitude of this differential pressure is held within a set range. In case the set range is set to a value with which a vehicle cannot run, the phenomenon of creep running will not occur.

  • Patent number: 5123149
Abstract: A turret tool post for a machine tool has a turret having a plurality of turret faces each equipped with a tool for machining, a turret shaft for rotating the turret, a cam follower provided on the turret shaft, a cam having a cam surface engaged with the cam follower to cause the cam follower to rotate, and an indexing motor for driving the cam to index the turret faces. A straight raceway portion is formed on the cam surface of the cam so that the cam follower is not driven to rotate through a predetermined angle. Also disclosed is an apparatus for controlling indexing of the turret tool post which has a turret controller for controlling the rotation of the indexing motor. • Patent number: 5124890
Abstract: This display board consists of the transparent acrylic plastic plates in which surface desired letters or pictures are grooved, and a panel made by fitting together a number of the bricks of transparent acrylic plastic. The light receiving edges of the plate, and the light receiving edge and the light emerging edge of the brick are sandpapered in order to make lights enter and emerge from the edge to maximum extent. The light receiving edges of the plates and bricks are colored with a desired to produce a colored light. When light-bulbs with refractors properly positioned at the light receiving edges of the plate and the brick are turned on, the colored lights withthe same color of the dye coloured the edges will emerge from the grooves cut in the plate and from the emerging edge of the brick. For uniform illuminant intensity of the grooves cut in the plate, the depths of grooves are adjusted to be deeper around the center of the plate than around its periphery.

  • Patent number: 5122335
Abstract: A suction controlled gear ring pump effects a continuous decrease of the vacuum occurring in the feed cells of the pump at higher rotational speeds due to the long movement path of the feed cells from the end of the suction region to the beginning of the discharge opening and the thereby occurring diminution of the feed cells. In order to prevent squeeze oil when working at a lower rotating speed, the feed cells positioned successively in the feed direction are connected between the teeth respectively with the neighboring feed cells by overflow channels extending through the gear teeth, check valves in said overflow channels preventing a flow against the feed direction.

  • Patent number: 5122692
Abstract: An input signal is received by a level shift circuit to generate a plurality of level-shifted output signals which have different shift amounts to each other. A switch circuit, selectively outputs the level-shifted output signals in response to a logic level of the input signal. The switch circuit selects a signal having a higher potential from the level-shifted output signals when the logic level of the input signal indicates a first level, and selects a signal having a lower potential from the level-shifted output signals when the logic level of the input signals indicates a second level.

  • Patent number: 5122083
Abstract: A resilient terminal with a buckling prevention mechanism has a pair of electric contact portions that are interconnected through a flexible joint portion. The pair of contact portions are provided with abutment portions that are disposed opposite to each other with a small gap therebetween. When there is a misalignment between the mating terminals or when an excessive insertion force is applied, the flexible joint portion of the terminal deflects to allow the male terminal to be inserted therein. The flexible joint portion, however, is protected against buckling because an excess bending of the joint portion is blocked by the abutment portions abutting against each other. At the same time, one of the abutment portions slides on the other, correcting the terminal misalignment and ensuring reliable terminal engagement.

  • Patent number: 5119528
Abstract: A tying band cluster consists of a plurality of tying bands connected in series, end to end, in longitudinal direction. Each of the tying bands has a head portion, a projecting piece formed at one end of the head portion, and a major portion of a band body formed at the other end of the head portion. When a tying band is formed, the projecting piece of the current tying band is fused with the free end of the major portion of the previous tying band. Because the major portion of the previous tying band is left in the molding dies when the next tying band is formed, the major portion of the previous tying band is kept heated and can therefore be fused completely with the projecting piece of the tying band currently being formed. This ensures a solid connection between the tying bands.
