Abstract: An expandable storage container includes a primary storage container having a series of openings arranged in an upper portion and a cavity on one side, and a secondary storage container arrange at least partially within the primary storage container. The secondary storage container has a series of openings arranged in an upper portion therein, and is sized to be slidably nested within at least a portion of the primary storage container. Items such a knives, rods, screwdrivers, etc. are stored vertically within the openings, and the secondary storage container slides outwardly from the primary storage container to permit additional storage as the use increases the number of item needing storage.

Abstract: A theft prevention device includes a security module integrated with the powered seat system. The security module is programmed to instruct the powered seat system to move the vehicle seat between an original position and a forward security position with the seat member and lumbar support member moved forward to prevent a thief from accessing the passenger compartment of the vehicle. The theft prevent device further includes a gearing mechanism linking the seat member and the lumbar support member for controlled forward movement of the lumbar support member to a fully forward position flush with a forward most position within a passenger compartment of the vehicle. The theft prevent device further includes further includes a trigger switch linked to the security module for sending a trigger event signal instructing the security module when an individual leaves the vehicle or when an individual returns to the vehicle.

Abstract: A golf club head includes a sole plate member having a first material construction and a top plate member having a material construction distinct from the first material construction. The material construction of the top plate member has a density less than the first material construction of the sole plate member. The golf club head also includes a face plate member having a material construction distinct from the first material construction, wherein the material construction of the face plate member has a density less than the first material construction of the sole plate member. The sole plate member, the top plate member and the face plate member are bound together to form a golf club head offering improved distance.

Abstract: A vertical glazing frame system for building curtain walls includes a sill assembly having a subsill shaped and dimensioned for direct attachment to a support structure and a sill shaped and dimensioned for receipt within the subsill for ease of installation and movement relative thereto. The system also includes a head assembly having a head receptor shaped and dimensioned for direct attachment to a support and a head shaped and dimensioned for receipt within the head receptor for movement relative thereto. The system further includes a jamb assembly and flashing plate extending over the sill assembly and the head assembly, the flashing plate including a first end coupled to the sill assembly and a second end covering the head assembly.

Abstract: The invention relates to a composition adapted for use as a sealing strip in the manufacture of insulating structures. The composition includes a polymeric base material, a cross linking agent, an adhesion promoter and less than 10% tackifier. The invention further relates to an insulating structure including first and second panes with the sealing strip positioned therebetween.

Abstract: A projectile receiver for receiving and stopping a high velocity projectile used in testing duct pipe which serves as a housing for fiber optic cables, as well as a method of using the projectile receiver, are disclosed. The receiver has a perforated housing that contains a rubber end stop therein adjacent a removable cap. The opposite end of the housing is stepped down to a diameter equal to that of a duct pipe being tested. The projectile receiver may be quickly and easily attached to and detached from a duct pipe to be tested using a clamping device, so that a single projectile receiver can be used to test a plurality of duct pipes in succession.

Abstract: A copy safe binder is disclosed. The binder includes a cover member including a coupling flap and a cover panel linked by a first fold line. The binder further includes a coupling member associated with the coupling flap for attaching loose sheets thereto. The cover panel is provided with a security strip secured to the cover panel adjacent to the fold line for preventing access to the coupling member for the removal of loose sheets from the binder without destroying a fully assembled binder.

Abstract: A two-piece cover for binding a stack of loose sheets into a booklet or brochure is disclosed. The cover includes a front cover panel and a rear cover panel. The rear cover panel includes a cover portion and a spine portion. The spine portion includes a front side and a back side, and is adapted to be folded to securely bind the stack of loose sheets within the cover. The spine portion includes a plurality of score lines respectively defining fold sections. The cover further includes a first second and third adhesive strips respectively coupled to the back side of the first fold section, the back side of the fourth fold section, and the front side of the fifth fold section. In use, the spine portion is folded along the third score line to create a recess between the second fold section and the third fold section into which the loose sheets of paper may be placed and secured.

Abstract: The subject invention comprises a light-reflective device comprising an article made of light-reflecting material to which is attached fastening means rotatably mounted thereto. Because of the moveable features of the fastening means of the subject invention, the article may be attached to varying objects in varying positions with respect thereto. For example, the reflective device may be worn by a jogger on his or her clothing. In addition, the device may be easily attached to a sneaker or a sock or a bicycle or a baby carriage and the like. Furthermore, because the reflective surface moves in varying positions relative to the fastening means, as the object to which it is attached moves (for example, a jogger), light, impacting upon the surface of the light-reflective device, is reflected in a pulsating manner thereby rendering the object more visible to an oncoming observer.

Abstract: This invention provides an improved aerodynamic disc comprising a central portion and a perimeter portion, the perimeter portion defining a central cavity situated within the central rim portion, in which upper and lower openings are connected by a threaded circular sidewall. The central portion of the disc contains a rotatably removable insert which is threadably engaged with the threaded circular sidewall of the central cavity. The insert comprises upper and lower circular surfaces which are connected by a threaded circular sidewall. The threading of the central cavity sidewall of the disc and the circular sidewall of the insert, are in male/female relationship to one another. Accordingly, by inserting and rotating the insert in the central cavity, the threads become engaged thereby locking the insert into the central cavity. Conversely, the insert may be rotated in the opposite direction, thereby removing it from the cavity.
