  • Patent number: 5256366
Abstract: A fiberglass molding method characterized by the use of a male mask to which glass fiber material is affixed and then sealed against a female mold by a vacuum actuated gasket system. Resin is placed into the bottom of the female mold and is pulled by vacuum through the glass fiber material by means of vacuum ports which extend through the bottom of a spillway and open at an elevation above the bottom of the spillway. The method also allows the resulting fiberglass part to be subsequently surfaced coated using the vacuum method.

  • Patent number: 5248363
Abstract: A transfer medium is produced by capturing an image and printing heat sensitive ink solids in the form of the image by thermal means onto a receptor. The image may then be transferred from the medium to the object by applying sufficient heat to the medium to cause the heat sensitive ink to permanently bond to the object in the desired image. The heat sensitive transfer ink is printed onto the receptor to prepare the medium by thermal printing means at a temperature which will release and print the ink, but which is below the temperature which will cause the heat sensitive ink to bond permanently. The image may then be transferred from the medium onto the object at a higher temperature which will cause the sensitive ink to permanently bond to the object.

  • Patent number: 5246518
Abstract: An image is permanently printed on an object having a synthetic component by capturing the image, printing the image by means of sublimation ink onto a medium, with the image then transferred from the medium to the object by applying sufficient heat to the medium to sublimate the ink, causing the ink to permanently bond to the object in the desired image. The sublimation ink is transferred to the medium by a printer from a ribbon, and/or by a means having a wax component which will bond the sublimation ink to the medium in precisely the desired design, yielding excellent resolution and bright, vivid colors in the final printing of the image.

  • Patent number: 5218725
Abstract: A flush valve water accelerator having a top opening of increased height to reduce the amount of water used by a toilet, and which accelerates the flow of water to increase the efficacy of the water in the toilet bowl. The device is comprised of an entry tube and an exit tube, with the exit tube having a minimum inside diameter of approximately fifty (50) percent of the median inside diameter of the entry tube to accelerate the flow of water into the toilet bowl without causing cavitation from the vacuum created by the restriction of the exit tube. A connecting tube, having a decreasing inside diameter, connects the entry tube and the exit tube.

  • Patent number: 5201465
Abstract: A mailbox signaling device which indicates that a door to a mailbox has been opened for the placement of mail within the mailbox. The action of the mailbox door causes a movement of a lever which actuates a trigger to release a signal rod. A signal rod is displaced from its housing by means of spring biasing, to indicate the opening of the mailbox door.

  • Patent number: 5154323
Abstract: An aerosol actuator, with applicator, which inhibits the actuator from being separated by the aerosol container when a force is applied to the actuator by the applicator. An actuator button is mounted within an actuator body by a straw which connects the actuator body and applicator to the actuator button, and which acts as a hinge for the actuator button. The actuator body is designed to remain intact on the aerosol body when a force is applied to the end of the applicator by various support rings.

  • Patent number: 5140796
Abstract: A closure tool for resealable bags incorporating a rib and groove type closure means having generally parallel legs so as to accept a resealable bag between them, are displaced toward each other so as to apply pressure to the rib and groove closure, causing the rib to engage the groove so as to cause a sealing of the resealable bag. One or more slots may be formed in the legs to aid in engaging the rib and groove closure means, and traversing the tool along the rib and groove closure means.
