Abstract: Stable receiving action is achieved with a receiver of simpler configuration. When a human hand is held over the panel unit 201, the electric field in the vicinity of the human body is coupled to the sensor electrode 2122 of the coil sensor 212 from the receiving electrode 211 of the panel unit 201, and alternate current is generated at the sensor electrode 2122. This alternate current then induces a magnetic flux inside the central opening of the coil 2121 in proportion to the strength of the electric field in the vicinity of the human body. Depending on the changes in this magnetic flux, electric current passes through the coil 2121. The electric current passing through the coil 2121 is converted by the electric current detecting circuit 2124 of the coil sensor 212 to voltage signals and transmitted as received signals to the demodulator 22.
Abstract: A measuring arrangement of the invention includes: At least one measuring device, which generates, repeatedly during operation, measured values, especially digital, measured values, representing the at least one measured variable to be registered; as well as an electronic data processing system superordinated to the at least one measuring device, especially a data processing system which is spatially distributed and/or spatially remote from the measuring device. Measuring device and data processing system are connected together by means of at least two line-pairs, through each of which an electrical current flows, at least at times, during operation. According to the invention, the measuring device transmits the internally generated, measured values to the data processing system via both line-pairs. In this way, it is then possible to transmit a plurality of measured values simultaneously, when each of the two line-pairs is embodied as part of a two-conductor current-loop.

Abstract: A light emitting device includes a plurality of micro diodes, which are electrically connected to constitute a bridge rectifier circuit. Each branch of the bridge rectifier circuit includes a single micro diode or a plurality of micro diodes. The light emitting device is electrically connected to an AC power source, which alternately drives the light emitting device in two current loops. Therefore, the micro diodes in two current loops of the bridge rectifier circuit emit light by turns.

Abstract: A low-pin-count scan compression method and apparatus for reducing test data volume and test application time in a scan-based integrated circuit. The scan-based integrated circuit contains one or more scan chains, each scan chain comprising one or more scan cells coupled in series. The method and apparatus includes a programmable pipelined decompressor comprising one or more shift registers, a combinational logic network, and an optional scan connector. The programmable pipelined decompressor decompresses a compressed scan pattern on its compressed scan inputs and drives the generated decompressed scan pattern at the output of the programmable pipelined decompressor to the scan data inputs of the scan-based integrated circuit. Any input constraints imposed by said_combinational logic network are incorporated into an automatic test pattern generation (ATPG) program for generating the compressed scan pattern for one or more selected faults in one-step.

Abstract: A circuit for amplifying a display signal transmitted to a repair line by using a non-inverting amplifier is disclosed, which comprises a voltage follower, a non-inverting amplifier, a repair line, a thin film transistor (TFT) and a liquid crystal (LC) capacitor. The voltage follower is electrically connected to a data driver chip to thereby provide a display signal to the non-inverting amplifier. The non-inverting amplifier amplifies the display signal to thus obtain an amplified display signal, and transmits the amplified display signal to the TFT and the LC capacitor through the repair line. The amplified display signal is kept at a desired voltage level when the LC capacitor receives the amplified display signal.

Abstract: A pixel array comprises a plurality of photo-sensitive elements arranged in rows and columns and readout circuitry for reading a value of a photo-sensitive element. Shared readout circuitry is provided for a pair of adjacent photo-sensitive elements. Adjacent instances of the shared readout circuitry are staggered with respect to one another. For a layout having shared readout circuitry for a pair of photo-sensitive elements, adjacent instances of the shared readout circuitry are offset by a horizontal distance of one column and a vertical distance of one row of the array. The shared readout circuitry can serve a pair of adjacent photo-sensitive elements in a row or column of the array, or a pair of photo-sensitive elements which are diagonally adjacent in the array. An improved yield and symmetry results from staggering instances of the shared readout circuitry.
Abstract: In a method for compatibility checking of a measuring system including a measurement transmitter and a sensor, a first signature is externally created for an identifying data set and is stored in the measurement transmitter. After transmission of the identifying data set from the measurement transmitter to the sensor, a second signature is calculated for the identifying data set in the sensor. If the signatures match, then the measurement transmitter and the sensor are compatible and the measurement transmitter can access data and/or functions of the sensor.
