Abstract: An abutment structure comprises a power rail, a ground rail parallel to the power rail, first cells and second cells. An area is defined between the power and the ground rails. A portion of each first and second cell overlaps the power and the ground rails, and another portion thereof is within the area. The first cells are within the abutment structure with original patterns thereof. The second cells respectively has an original pattern and a base pattern being a flip pattern of the original pattern, and are within the area with alternate of the original and the base patterns. The first and the second cells are within the area alternately without overlapping. Alternatively, the first and the second cells may also be within different areas, and the second cells are within different areas respectively with the base pattern and a flip pattern of the base pattern thereof.

Abstract: An apparatus for measuring volume- or mass-flow of a medium in a pipeline. The apparatus includes: a measuring tube, through which medium flows in the direction of the measuring tube axis, wherein the measuring tube has, in stream direction of the medium, a first end region and a second end region; a magnet system, which a produces a magnetic field passing through the measuring tube essentially transversely to the measuring tube axis; at least one measuring electrode coupled with the medium and arranged in a region of the measuring tube lying essentially perpendicular to the magnetic field; and a control/evaluation unit, which delivers information concerning volume- or mass-flow of the medium in the measuring tube on the basis of a measurement voltage induced in the at least one measuring electrode. In order to keep costs for the magneto-inductive flow measuring device low, the measuring tube is embodied as one-piece and the first end region and the second end region of the measuring tube are flared.

Abstract: A liner is arranged for use in prosthetic and orthopedic devices. The liner defines first and second end portions, and inner and outer surfaces. The liner includes an inner layer having a frictional component and forms at least part of the periphery of the inner liner surface. The inner layer defines a plurality of apertures. A porous element is in communication with the inner liner surface and is connected to the inner layer such that the apertures permit a transfer of air from the inner surface to the porous element. Abstract: An electrode anchoring structure in a crystal-growing furnace includes at least one graphite electrode pillar, at least one metal electrode pillar, at least one anchoring base, and at least one locking nut, wherein the graphite electrode pillar is engaged with a nut base of the metal electrode pillar, and the at least one metal electrode pillar is, through the anchoring base, is secured to furnace wall. Therefore, the at least one graphite electrode pillar acts both as weight support and electrical-conducting electrode. Since the flange welded on furnace wall has a greater area exposed to the atmosphere, a desirable cooling effect can be achieved, and temperature drop can be expedited if water spray is performed. The anchoring base is provided with a resilient washer, such that a resilient force can be employed to adjust loading of each graphite electrode pillar in an axial direction.
Abstract: A pixel structure of liquid crystal display including a first and a second sub-pixel electrodes, a first and a second data lines, a gate line, and a first and a second transistors is provided. The first and the second sub-pixel electrodes disposed in the first and second sub-pixel areas respectively include at least two display domains at left and right. The first data line is disposed under the interface between two domains of each of the first and second sub-pixel electrodes, and the second data line is disposed under the edges of the first and second sub-pixel electrodes. The gate line is disposed between the first and second sub-pixel areas. The first sub-pixel electrode is controlled by the gate line and the first data line through the first transistor. The second sub-pixel electrode is controlled by the gate line and the second data line through the second transistor.

Abstract: A field device for data- and parameter-processing in a decentralized automation system, wherein other connected fieldbus components of the decentralized automation system communicate with one another via a fieldbus connected to the field device, and wherein a unified automation system is formed from a plurality of encapsulated function blocks, which run decentralized in the individual fieldbus components of the fieldbus and communicate with one another. An object of the invention, therefore, is to provide a function block for field devices of process automation technology, which enables a simple, controlled storage of data and/or parameters from the various function blocks of the decentralized units of the automation system and which permits an autonomous re-parametering of the function blocks of the relevant field device.
