Abstract: Techniques and systems are disclosed for calculating daylight negative balance fees charged to a user associated with a plurality of deposit account. The daylight negative balance fees may be customized (or adjusted) to the amount of time the user's aggregate accounts maintained a negative balance. As such, those users that spend more time with a negative balance during a business day may be charged higher fees than other users. Moreover, multiple deposit platforms may provide account data through feeds. As such a user with multiple accounts may be charged according to its aggregate negative balance amount rather than simply on each account individually. Additionally, enhanced reporting and billing features are disclosed.

Abstract: Aspects of this disclosure relate a system for retrieving images that may include one or more mainframe computer sites or Logical Partitions (LPARS) one or more servers operatively connected to the LPARS, and one or more databases operatively connected one or more of the LPARS. The system may also include a processor that may be configured to perform a method for generating electronic cash letters. The method for generating electronic cash letters may include reading a primary input key file assigned to the cash letter job, wherein the primary input key file includes a set of keys and each key corresponds to an image stored in one of the databases. The method may further include splitting the keys in the primary input key file into individual key files.
Abstract: Aspects of the invention include methods and systems for a vehicle insurance claim management application which improves communication and streamline tasks between a vehicle repair shop and an insurance company system in three general task groups: assignment (comprising work requests, estimates/photos, and reinspections), financial management, and performance measurement. Aspects of the invention also provide interoperability with different types of estimating systems that do not necessarily follow an industry standard. This interoperability is provided through an adapter module with a claim processing system to communicate with the insurance company system and the vehicle insurance claim management application. The invention is preferably accessed by a user over a computer network such as the Internet, from a remote location such as a vehicle repair shop.

Abstract: An image formation system includes an image formation device and a server device connected with each other through a network. The image formation device includes an image formation executing unit that receives an image formation request from a terminal device through the network and executes the image formation a request source information transmitting unit that transmits request source information, which is included in the image formation request and identifies the request source of the image formation request, and an image formation restricting unit that restricts the image formation by the image formation executing unit when a restriction instruction is received from the server device. The server device includes a restriction instruction transmitting unit that causes the image formation unit to restrict in the image formation when a registration status of the request source information with respect to a database for storing the request source information satisfies a predetermined status.
Abstract: An improved joint edge assembly, of the type used in the construction of concrete slabs, is disclosed. The assembly comprises a longitudinal joint rail, preferably of steel, which is supported off the ground by formwork. The joint rail comprises first and second joint edge members that are connected to each other by interference-type connectors with self-release elements. A plurality of studs extends downward and outward from each of the joint edge members into the concrete slabs provide a positive mechanical connection between the slab and the joint rail. As the concrete shrinks during hardening, the self-release elements of the interference-type connectors allow the joint to freely open. The joint edge assembly thus provides a self-releasing joint between adjacent slab sections, and protects the edges of the adjacent slab sections from damage. A dowel aligner may also be integrated into the assembly, to allow proper positioning of dowels within the slab.

Abstract: A heel cup formed from a flexible material is located under the heel region of an upper portion of an article of footwear. Lateral and medial counters extend upward from the heel cup on the lateral and medial sides, with the medial counter having a height less than that of the lateral counter, and with a rear edge of the heel cup being lower than the lateral and medial counters. A rear strap extends upward around the lateral counter and around the Achilles tendon of the wearer, and is secured to a location on the upper that is forward of the wearer's ankle. During cutting movements in which the article is worn on the outside foot, tilting of the wearer foot and ankle toward the medial side pulls the strap and causes the lateral counter to conform to and support the wearer heel.
Abstract: An article of footwear is disclosed that includes an upper and a sole structure secured to the upper. The sole structure incorporates a support element that includes a fluid-filled chamber, a first insert, and a second insert. The chamber defines a first surface, an opposite second surface, and a sidewall extending between the first surface and the second surface. The first insert is secured to the first surface and at least partially recessed into the polymer material of the chamber, and the second insert is secured to the second surface. In addition, the chamber may be pressurized to deform the first insert or the second insert.
Abstract: A single pole multi throw switch comprises a first switching unit, a second switching unit coupled to a common port and comprising a parasitic off state capacitance, and a matching unit. The matching unit may be coupled between the first switching unit and the common port, wherein the matching unit is configured to contribute, in conjunction with the parasitic off state capacitance of the second switching unit, to an impedance match if the first switching unit is active and the second switching unit is inactive.
Abstract: A highly configurable kernel supports a wide variety of content protection systems. The kernel may reside in a host that interacts with a secure processor maintaining content protection clients. After establishing communication with the secure processor, the host receives messages from content protection clients requesting rules for message handling operations to support client operations. This flexible configuration allows for dynamic reconfiguration of host and secure processor operation.

Abstract: An electrical connector for electrically connecting multiple photovoltaic bus bars. A casing includes first and second opposing walls. An elastic strip is bent into a bent elastic strip with a first leg and a second leg. The bent elastic strip is disposed between the first and second walls of the casing with the first leg pressing against the first wall and the second leg pressing against the second wall. The bent elastic strip is configured to hold at least one of the photovoltaic bus bars between the first leg and the first wall and another of the photovoltaic bus bars between the second leg and the second wall. The bent elastic strip may be formed of resilient spring metal with a thickness and an elastic modulus. The thickness and/or the elastic modulus of the elastic strip is/are configured so that the bus bars are inserted without requiring a tool to open a space and so that the bus bars are removed from the connector without requiring a tool to break the electrical connection.

Abstract: A mop with a handle includes a plurality of mop fibers coupled to the handle. The mop includes a grip mounted on the handle, and a collar that is slidably positioned on the handle. The collar can be secured to the grip when not in use. The collar may include one or more tabs with a ramp for engagement with a ridge located on the grip that, in operation, allows for detachably coupling of the collar to the grip. The ramp is configured so that it extends a sufficient distance from the tab so as to cause the tab to flex when the collar is attached to the grip. In operation, a user can uncouple the collar from the grip and slide the collar over the mop fibers and use the collar to wring the mop fibers.
Abstract: An image forming device includes a heat member and a pressure member in pressed contact with the heat member, forming a nip part therebetween. A cover member of a main casing is movable between a first closed position for covering the heat member and a first open position for exposing the heat member. A flapper disposed between the cover member and the nip part is movable between a second closed position for covering the heat member and a second open position for exposing the heat member. The flapper toggles between conveying paths. A regulating member is capable of regulating movement of the flapper to the second open position when the cover member is in the first open position so as to maintain the heat member covered by the flapper.
Abstract: There is provided a device information management system, including a server, a client and a device in which the server and the client are configured to communicate with each other via a first communication channel while the client and the device are configured to communicate with each other via a second communication channel different from the first communication channel and device information is transmitted from the device to the client via the second communication channel and from the client to the server via the first communication channel and registered in a database of the server. The device includes a device-side information supplying unit configured to supply the device information to the client via the second communication channel.
