Abstract: A highly configurable kernel supports a wide variety of content protection systems. The kernel may reside in a host that interacts with a secure processor maintaining content protection clients. After establishing communication with the secure processor, the host receives messages from content protection clients requesting rules for message handling operations to support client operations. This flexible configuration allows for dynamic reconfiguration of host and secure processor operation.

Abstract: There is provided a device information management system, including a server, a client and a device in which the server and the client are configured to communicate with each other via a first communication channel while the client and the device are configured to communicate with each other via a second communication channel different from the first communication channel and device information is transmitted from the device to the client via the second communication channel and from the client to the server via the first communication channel and registered in a database of the server. The device includes a device-side information supplying unit configured to supply the device information to the client via the second communication channel.
Abstract: An electrical connector for electrically connecting multiple photovoltaic bus bars. A casing includes first and second opposing walls. An elastic strip is bent into a bent elastic strip with a first leg and a second leg. The bent elastic strip is disposed between the first and second walls of the casing with the first leg pressing against the first wall and the second leg pressing against the second wall. The bent elastic strip is configured to hold at least one of the photovoltaic bus bars between the first leg and the first wall and another of the photovoltaic bus bars between the second leg and the second wall. The bent elastic strip may be formed of resilient spring metal with a thickness and an elastic modulus. The thickness and/or the elastic modulus of the elastic strip is/are configured so that the bus bars are inserted without requiring a tool to open a space and so that the bus bars are removed from the connector without requiring a tool to break the electrical connection.
Abstract: Providing re-addressable alternate video content to consumers during trickplay modes of operation. For example, providing first video content for standard playback to a consumer; receiving a first consumer request for a first trick mode operation during the standard playback of the first video content; responsive to the first consumer request, providing addressable second video content, different from the first video content, to the consumer; receiving, during providing of the addressable second video content, a second consumer request for a second trick mode operation on the addressable second video content; and responsive to the second consumer request, providing addressable third video content, different from the first and second video contents, to the consumer.
Abstract: An image forming device includes a heat member and a pressure member in pressed contact with the heat member, forming a nip part therebetween. A cover member of a main casing is movable between a first closed position for covering the heat member and a first open position for exposing the heat member. A flapper disposed between the cover member and the nip part is movable between a second closed position for covering the heat member and a second open position for exposing the heat member. The flapper toggles between conveying paths. A regulating member is capable of regulating movement of the flapper to the second open position when the cover member is in the first open position so as to maintain the heat member covered by the flapper.
Abstract: A template for positioning a pocket former wherein the template positions the pocket former at a fixed depth with respect to the top of concrete formwork. The template comprises a support and a body. The support positions the template; the body comprises a positioner for locating a pocket former. A spacer that connects to the support according to the desired depth of the pocket former can also be included. The template thus provides a reliable and efficient way of ensuring that a pocket former is placed at the appropriate depth.
Abstract: A toner recovery machine comprising: a first roller having a radius and rotatable about a first axis, the first axis along a first direction; a cleaner touching the first roller; a container for accommodating toner, the container comprising: a first conveyer movable along a second direction perpendicular to the first direction; and a second conveyer rotatable about a second axis and having a radius defined by the rotation about the second axis, the second axis along the first direction, wherein the second conveyer, the first roller, and the first conveyer are positioned in this order along the second direction, wherein the sum of the radius of the first roller and the radius defined by the second conveyer is smaller than a distance in the second direction between the first axis and the second axis.
Abstract: A mop with a handle includes a plurality of mop fibers coupled to the handle. The mop includes a grip mounted on the handle, and a collar that is slidably positioned on the handle. The collar can be secured to the grip when not in use. The collar may include one or more tabs with a ramp for engagement with a ridge located on the grip that, in operation, allows for detachably coupling of the collar to the grip. The ramp is configured so that it extends a sufficient distance from the tab so as to cause the tab to flex when the collar is attached to the grip. In operation, a user can uncouple the collar from the grip and slide the collar over the mop fibers and use the collar to wring the mop fibers.
Abstract: In accordance with an example embodiment of the present invention, an apparatus is presented that comprises a multichannel audio transmitter which has a first mode for transmitting a multichannel audio signal and a second mode for transmitting at least a first and a second audio signal, each having fewer channels than the multichannel audio transmitter. A controller is configured to switch the multichannel audio transmitter from the first mode to the second mode when the first audio signal becomes available.
Abstract: A facial image recognition system for a driver of a vehicle includes an image capturing unit, an image processing unit, and a warning unit. The image capturing unit is used for capturing facial images of the driver. The image processing unit is electrically coupled to the image capturing unit, has installed therein a facial frame selecting and position correcting method and an identification comparison algorithm, and receives the facial images of the driver from the image capturing unit. The warning unit is electrically coupled to the image processing unit, and emits a warning signal when the image processing unit determines that an identification of the driver has changed.
Abstract: A method of radiating a radioelectric signal in an area of interest composed of at least two different area sectors, the method including providing at least two sector antennas arranged respective feed signals obtained from said signal; spacing apart the at least two sector antennas from each other of a distance equal to or greater than one wavelength of a radioelectric signal to be irradiated; and acting on the feed signals fed to the at least two sector antennas in such a way that a relative phase of signals transmitted by the at least two sector antennas is caused to vary in time.

Abstract: A topcoat is applied to a surface of a golf ball using a carrier fluid comprising nitrogen gas or nitrogen-enriched air. The carrier fluid typically has air enriched to about 90-99.5% nitrogen. A mixture of carrier fluid and coating material may be sprayed onto the exterior of the golf ball. Nitrogen-enriched air delivery provides a number of benefits over compressed air delivery, such as reduced coating thickness, reduced variance in the coating thickness and average thickness, reduced pooling in dimple center, edge ratio closer to 1.0, faster cure times, reduced viscosity, less material usage, reduced material flow rate, reduced atomization air pressure, and decreased drying time.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for the preparation of piperidine derivatives including sufentanil, and their pharmaceutically acceptable salts, such as the citrate salt in which a quaternary ammonium (nosylate) salt of an appropriate piperidine is reacted with a corresponding 4-NO2 sulfonate ester to produce the desired piperidine derivative at a high purity.
