  • Patent number: 5191172
Abstract: Cable terminal protector, consisting of two generally rectangular main members joined at one end by an integral live hinge for movement from a face-to-face closed position to an open position, there being a central pocket formed in each main member for forming an enclosure. Cable channels are formed in the ends of the members to clamp a cable when the main members are in the closed position and means are provided for locking the main members in the closed position, while sealing surfaces surround the pockets and to cooperate, when the main members are in the closed position, to prevent foreign matter from entering the enclosure and to provide complete electrostatic encapsulation when a conductive material is used for the protector.

  • Patent number: 5176559
Abstract: A toy glider is shown having a unitary wing formed of closed cell resin material disposed in a slot formed in a fuselage in which a weight is located to place the center of gravity of the glider at a point which, along with selected flexibility of the wing, produces a cyclical up and down flapping type of movement of the wings when placed in flight above a threshold velocity. The glider has no horizontal stabilizer and the fuselage has a force-receiving surface adapted to accommodate the distal portion of a person's finger.

  • Patent number: 5137697
Abstract: An air purifying apparatus that has an ozone generator which generates plasma field in the ultraviolet region. It utilizes a pair of electrodes in the form of plates that are separated by an insulator. The plates are connected to a high-voltage transformer through diodes in such a way that only a negative and less positive charges appear on the plates. The generator is provided with a self-cleaning apparatus in which the circulating air fan that is provided for normally forcing air through the electrostatic plates may be turned off for a period of time and the ozone generated by the plates at that point in time will tend to combine with the contaminates and oxidize the same.

  • Patent number: 5125613
Abstract: Display easel having an elongated connector to which are attached three legs which can be moved from parallel storage positions to angular erection positions to form a tripod. The connector has a longitudinal passage in which slides a support rod, the movement of the legs from their storage positions to their erected positions causing the legs to lock the rod at a selected position in the passage. The legs have telescoping extensions and at least one leg has an auxiliary element that is held on the leg by a blind rivet whose head lies in a protuberance in the leg, so that its head does not interfere with sliding of the extension in the leg for adjustment.
