Abstract: A stopper projects radially outward from the periphery of a rotary turn table and a plurality of selection poles are disposed such that any one of the selection poles, when depressed, projects into the locus of rotation of the stopper. A spring fabricated to have energizing pieces, the same in number as the number of selection poles, is positioned within a casing so that two mating parts can engage with each other. Each energizing piece is made electrically conductive and the spring also urges each selection pole toward the outside of the casing. A metal guide plate holds the selection poles 16 which are disposed along the periphery of the turn table within the casing and further guides the selected selection pole into the locus of rotation of the stopper. The selected selection pole will urge corresponding spring into engagement with the guide plate.
Abstract: A movable contact 4 is fabricated of a spring wire, the halfway portion of which is wound around a pin 5. One lengthwise end of the wire rests on a casing and the other lengthwise end is rested at the halfway portion of an L-shaped lever 6 received by the pin 5, the pin being coaxial with the movable contact 4. A fixed contact 7 is disposed at a position where it can engage the movable contact 4 at its portion halfway between the point rested on the lever 6 and the portion being wound around the pin. A portion or arm of the lever 6 can extend toward and contact a pickup 3 returned to the starting point of sound reproduction. That portion of the lever 6 is spaced from the pin 5 a distance longer than the part or arm of the lever 6 associated with the movable contact 4. By virtue of this construction, the device is able to perform exact switching action without requiring any particular delicate adjustment in connection with the resilient force of each return or coil spring 1.
Abstract: An overlock sewing machine having a dial and a conversion means for converting the rotary motion of the dial into a linear motion which are associated with a cutter blade holder such that the adjustment of the distance between a stationary claw and a movable claw adjusts the looping width in correspondence with the linear movement of the cutter blade holder perpendicular to the direction of feed of the cloth caused by rotation of the dial. The movable claw, carried by a movable member, can move between an operative position in which the movable claw is positioned next to the side of the stationary claw and an inoperative position spaced away from the side of the stationary claw. The position at which the cutter blade holder is supported on the machine body is offset from the position at which the upper and lower cutting blades make contact.

The sealing member is further provided with a coupling head 45 engageable with the radial inner tip end portion of a rotary bearing ring 35 so that the sealing member can be made integral with the bearing 30.
Abstract: An apparatus for storing coins is provided with slot-like openings for the insertion and dispensing thereof, as well as for the removal of the overflow. The coins are stored between two concentric rings, each of which has a helical slot on the facing faces thereof. The individual coins are held by the limiting surfaces of these slots. The gap between the two rings is subdivided into individual compartments by the vanes of a rotary impeller and the length thereof corresponds roughly to a coin diameter. As a result of this arrangement, the coins are stored in succession and also in juxtaposed manner. The insertion and dispensing of coins takes place by a corresponding controlled rotation of the impeller, the rotation for insertion taking place in one direction and that for dispensing in the other direction.
Abstract: A game tracking device for use in combination with a bow and arrow comprises a tracking line, a canister and a mounting bracket. The canister is mounted to the bow by means of the mounting bracket which is configured to mount the canister at a point laterally removed from the bow. The tracking line is center wound and stored within the canister and is secured at a free end thereof, to an arrow. In this manner, when the arrow is launched, the tracking line is paid out of the canister to track the position of the arrow. An arrow is disclosed herein which is adapted to receive securely the free end of the tracking line.
Abstract: A filler carrier of the type adapted to move metal extrusions in a generally horizontal plane beneath the dispensing nozzle of a machine for dispensing uncured liquid plastic is disclosed. Uncured liquid plastic is dispensed into a channel of the extrusion which is subsequently cut so as to form a thermal barrier between the remaining sections of the extrusion which remain coupled by means of the cured plastic material. The filler carrier is provided with a mechanically driven conduit that is movable between a first lowered position that permits the passage thereover of the extrusion, to a second raised position wherein an upper opening of the movable conduit receives the nozzle of the dispensing machine so that uncured liquid plastic from the machine and any subsequent flushing solvent passing therethrough may be collected and transferred to an appropriate container in a clean and simple fashion.

Abstract: A plurality of discrete small cooling surfaces are arrayed on the surface of a movably received heat extracting member in both the axial and rotational directions. The discrete small cooling surfaces are formed by a plurality of one set of parallel grooves formed obliquely to and between the two axial ends of the heat extracting member and are crossed by a plurality of another set of parallel grooves formed in a similar manner but in different direction. An opening of a nozzle is directed toward the outer peripheral surface of the heat extracting member. A continuing stream of molten material is projected upon the discrete small cooling surfaces of the rotating heat extracting member such that the heat of the molten material is extracted by each of the discrete small cooling surface to solidify the molten material into flake particles. Accordingly, the molten material can be applied concurrently onto a plurality of discrete small cooling surfaces.
Abstract: In a rolling bearing for strut-type suspensions, a rotary bearing race 33 has, at its radially inner part, a cylindrical portion 37 having an outwardly extending flange 38. The radial inner end part 41 of the stationary bearing race 34 of the bearing is disposed at such a position so as to be overlapping with the outwardly extending flange 38. At least one of the above-mentioned members confronts and overlaps the other and includes a member having self-lubricating characteristics.

Abstract: A simplified sound reproducing device having a record disc 5 having a plurality of record grooves is driven by a constant torque spring motor 2. A turntable 3 and the record disc 5 are frictionally assembled so that relative slippage occurs between them in the direction of their rotation when an extra force is applied to the system. A sound reproducing member 10, applying a stylus pressure to a pickup 6, has a holding piece attached thereto which contacts the reverse face of the record disc 5 and stops its rotation when the sound transmitting member 10 is lifted up by tension exerted by a stretched pull string 14, when the string 14 is pulled to wind the constant torque spring motor. By virtue of this construction, the angle of rotation of the turntable 3 and the record disc 5, are shifted from each other so that the introductory part of the record groove, next to the one just completed, can be placed under the pickup 6 now returned to the starting point of sound reproduction, and played.
