Abstract: A tab terminal, capable of being mounted in a parts mounting space on a printed circuit board which is small in height, includes a terminal body, an extension portion formed integrally with the terminal body so as to extend from one end edge of the terminal body in the longitudinal direction thereof, side wall portions formed integrally with the terminal body so as to extend from side edges of the terminal body in the height direction of the tab terminal, respectively, and contact portions formed integrally with the side wall portions so as to extend from distal end edges of the side wall portions in substantially parallel to the terminal body, respectively. The extension portion is adapted to be connected with an electrical connecting part, and the tab terminal is fixedly connected at the contact portions to the printed circuit board.

Abstract: This invention is directed as “a device of hard disk shock-resistance”, mainly consists of an outer frame, an inner frame, and multiple absorbers. With multiple assembly and tool holes arranged in appropriate position, the absorbers are snapped in-between the assembly holes of the outer and inner frames to create a buffer area which protects hard disk from breaking down in severe shocking environments, while it is still convenient to mount and dismount the hard disk with easy unit assembly.

Abstract: A wireless signal receiving device with prompt wake-up function is disclosed for receiving serial data transmitted from computer peripherals. The device includes a RF signal receiving module, a bridge module and a USB module, which can operate in normal mode, first idle mode, second idle mode or search mode. When the device is in the first idle mode, it still receives serial data normally. When the device is in the second idle mode, the device can change to the search mode periodically to search whether there is new transmitted data. The main drawback of not being promptly waken up when the conventional wireless signal receiving device is in idle mode is improved through the disclosed device and the two idle modes.

Abstract: There is provided a method of preventing decreases in the developed color density and color fading speed of an organic photochromic compound without lowering the mechanical and optical physical properties such as hardness of a cured product when the cured product which has the organic photochromic compound dispersed in a polymer matrix is obtained. A photochromic cured product is obtained by curing a photochromic curable composition which comprises a polymerizable monomer having a biphenyl skeleton such as p-phenylphenyl methacrylate, a multifunctional polymerizable monomer having no biphenyl skeleton such as a mixture of trimethylolpropane trimethacrylate and triethylene glycol dimethacrylate, and an organic photochromic compound.

Abstract: System for handling components in connection with circuit board assembly in a component mounting machine. The system comprises a number of component tapes provided on component tape reels, and a number of tape guides arranged for receiving component tapes of a given component tape width and for bringing the component tape in position for feeding of the component tape and for picking components from the component tape in the component mounting machine. The tape guides have a similar geometrical outline and basic configuration, and each tape guide comprises a component exposure device for exposing a component at a picking position by removing the portion of the cover tape covering the component. The tape guides are divided into sub-sets of tape guides, wherein the tape guides of each individual sub-set have component exposure devices of the same design, which design is dependent on the configurations of the component tapes intended for that sub-set of tape guides.

Abstract: A display drive device of the present invention includes a plurality of cascade connected source driver LSI chips for driving a liquid crystal panel in accordance with an image data signal, and each of the source driver LSI chips includes: a shift register for shifting and transmitting a start pulse signal in synchronization with a clock signal; a sampling memory for sampling the image data signal in accordance with an output of the shift register; and a hold memory for latching a selected image data signal in accordance with a latch signal, wherein a delay circuit for generating the latch signal by delaying the start pulse signal supplied by the shift register in each of the source driver LSI chips is disposed. This arrangement enables the whole device, including a controller, etc., to be produced in a smaller size and at a lower cost.

By judging this flag by using an image handling apparatus of an image processing system, only valid order files are processed.

Accordingly, an user of the calling party pays no bill which is unnecessary when an automatic answering mode is activated on a telephone of the calling party, and the efficiency of communication system increases since the phone lines are free from the unnecessary phone calls.

Abstract: A sheet stabilizer is provided for a dryer section of a paper-making machine which conveys a wet sheet of paper by way of a felt or fabric, the dryer roller including a leading upper dryer roller, a lower dryer roller, and a trailing upper dryer roller. The sheet stabilizer comprises upper and lower Venturi boxes, which are disposed between the leading upper dryer roller and the lower drying roller. Each Venturi box provides a respective space defined by fixed parallel outer and inner plates. In use, the wet sheet of paper is in sliding contact with the upper outer plate. The upper and lower Venturi boxes cooperate to draw air from the nip between the wet sheet of paper and the lower dryer roller and into both the upper fixed space and the lower fixed space. The sliding contact between the supported wet sheet of paper and the upper outer plate assures that the air flow does not result in fluttering of the wet sheet of paper.

Abstract: The present invention provides any ink jet pen an apparatus for storing and printing ink, wherein a valve is connected between the ink reservoir and the ink chamber for controlling the ink flow between the ink reservoir and the ink chamber and adjusting the air pressure in the ink chamber to keep the pressure in the ink chamber within the allowed range as the ink gradually gets depleted or the environmental pressure changes. The valve having a plunger and a plunger chamber, wherein the plunger chamber is connected to the atmosphere via an atmospheric opening and connected to the ink chamber via a feedback opening which adjusts the pressure in the ink chamber to move the plunger. When a difference between the atmospheric pressure and inner pressure of the ink chamber develops, the plunger will be pushed by the pressure of the atmosphere or the ink chamber to determine whether the ink reservoir is connected to the ink chamber and to adjust the ink chamber inner pressure.
