Abstract: A latch assembly of the type used on postal cluster units, such as central mailbox units including a latch assembly of multiple dual bold latch mechanisms for securing at multiple latch points a pair of center meeting hinged doors upon closure of the doors. The dual bolt latch mechanisms of the latch assembly are enclosed within the cabinet of the postal cluster unit and are operable by a single concealed handle to simultaneously unlatch the multiple latch points.

Abstract: The present invention relates to identification tagging, and is specifically directed to identification tagging of ammunition. An isotopic taggant is deposited in a layer at the interface between the primer and the propellant so that, as the ammunition is fired, the taggant is dispersed throughout the propellant. The taggant is thus contained in the gunshot residue formed during the firing, and can be read by analysis of residue particles. Alternatively, the taggant may be deposited in a layer under the primer reactants, or in pellets which are easily destroyed by the chemical reactions involved in firing the ammunition, again dispersing the taggant throughout the propellant and the gunshot residue. Non-isotopic chemical taggants may also be employed if they are encoded so as to minimize the possibility of the information being destroyed or improperly read after the taggants are exposed to the chemical reactions in firing the ammunition.

Abstract: Methods are disclosed for increasing lift and decreasing drag on hydrofoils and swim fins. The methods include providing a hydrofoil with a highly swept back leading edge portion and orienting the hydrofoil at a significantly reduced angle of attack in which the reduced angle of attack occurs at an angle that is substantially transverse to the hydrofoil's direction of movement through a surrounding fluid medium. The lee surfaces of the hydrofoil are provided with a substantially unobstructed flow path as well as a separation reducing contour so as to permit lift generating attached flow conditions to form along such lee surfaces. Substantially rigid structural reinforcement is provided to prevent the hydrofoil from deforming significantly during use. Methods are disclosed for providing a hydrofoil with a substantially longitudinal recess or venting system located substantially along the center axis of the hydrofoil.
Abstract: A strategy board game is disclosed. The board for the game or playmat is comprised of several distinct regions each with a specific purpose and/or rules associated with the region. The Battlefield region is where opposing players challenge one another with various game pieces. There is also a region for keeping certain game pieces while they await to be summoned to the Battlefield. Another region, the Graveyard, is were game pieces are placed after such game pieces are taken by an opponent. Another region of the playmat is designated for the storing of currency used during play. Certain game pieces have fixed properties and other have properties that can be changed by the player during the course of the game at strategic times. A player can change the properties of a game piece by paying the cost associated therewith using the currency he or she has earned by moving game pieces and/or taking an opponents game pieces.

Abstract: A yoga mat that may be rolled up tightly and then held closed by straps, which wrap around and encircle the rolled up mat. The straps are affixed to the mat by the ends thereof being sewn to the edge of mat under an attachment strip, which fits along one entire edge of the mat. A shoulder strap is also attached under the attachment strip between the two straps, so that the mat can be carried over the shoulder with both hands and arms free.

The inflation needle storage device (10) is made of a resilient material, with a solid base (18) having receiving holes (12) designed so that the stems (17) of inflation needles (14) fit snugly inside of receiving holes (12) and are held in place by friction so that they cannot fall out. The inflation needle storage device (10) has a transverse hole (20) through it, to thread an attachment device, such as a nail, chain, string or wire, to attach the inflation needle storage device (10) to any convenient surface.
Abstract: A portable modular field kitchen for use in the out-of-doors comprises a main frame having at least a pair of scissors support legs interconnected with at least a pair of vertical upright members for providing a scissors operator. Each of the scissors support legs comprises a front support leg and a rear support leg interconnected to provide a scissors action. The scissors support legs are interconnected by a pair of parallel top support members for providing stability, and each of the vertical upright members is pivotally joined to the corresponding front support leg. A top work surface is removably attached to each of the parallel top support members. A collapsible upper frame section is supported by the vertical upright members for suspending a plurality of cooking articles. Finally, at least one side grate table having a collapsible frame is releasably attached to the main frame.
