    Abstract: An apparatus and process for placement of prefabricated buildings at onsite foundations, by providing a plurality of prefabricated foundation piers secured to individual concrete footings via bolting or the like. Foundation piers would be spaced apart in order to accommodate the length of the trailer or the like, in pairs, the distance apart substantially equal to the double spanning beams along the length of the trailer. There is further provided an angle iron collar positioned on the first and last pairs of piers, for securing wooden or the like tracks spanning the entire length of the piers, with the tracks attached to the angle iron collar on the first and last set of piers via screwing or the like. There is further provided a single length of angle iron secured to the track, preferably on the inside of each track, to serve as a guide means in the utilization of the track.

    Abstract: A method of cutting grooves and whitewalling vehicle tires in a series of functional steps, employing an apparatus which comprises a tire buffing assembly swively mounted upon an arm assembly allowing adjustment of the buffing assembly. There is further provided speed control means for controlling the variable speed of the drive means for rotating a reversible wheel drive member for rotating the tire during the buffing steps. The buffing assembly would have a plurality of buffing blades depending on the size of the strip to be buffed, and would be electrically driven. There is further provided means for maneuvering the apparatus via a handle and wheel members and a seating means for affording comfort during the operation of the apparatus.

    Abstract: The purification of aluminum chloride, with the crude aluminum chloride normally being obtained through a process of carbo-chlorination of metallic ores, in particularly aluminum bearing ores, to make the metallic chlorides, in particular aluminum chloride. In the present invention, if the crude aluminum chloride does not contain traces of sulfur, the crude aluminum chloride is blended with elemental sulfur or an equivalent sulfur containing compound and simultaneously elemental aluminum powder or an equivalent aluminum containing compound in the solid state is added to the crude aluminum chloride. This blend is kept at 180.degree. C. at one atmosphere of pressure and is fed into a screw-type sublimer wherein the substantially pure aluminum chloride undergoes sublimation in the presence of elemental nitrogen as a purging agent and under constant agitation. The sublimed aluminum chloride is streamed into a reaction ground bed containing aluminum granules at approximately 250.degree. C.

Likewise, a plurality of dove tailed tracks are provided along the side and back walls of each individualized compartment thus providing interconnections between individualized units into a compartmentalized system.

    Abstract: A process involving the utilization of a clamp apparatus positioned around a pile to be driven into the seabed through the jacket leg and supported on the top end portion of the jacket leg itself. The apparatus involved in this process would comprise a pair of hemispherical sections hinged together at a common edge moveable between opened and closed positions opposite the hinged edge. There is further provided hydraulic means for effecting movement of the sections engaging or disengaging the piling. On the inner wall of each hemisphere there is further provided a plurality of protrusions, constructed of soft metal or the like, so that the outermost face of each protrusion engages the wall of the piling when the apparatus is in the closed position and engaged around the pile. The downward movement of the pile in the jacket leg is controlled by the loosening or tightening of the clamp apparatus by use of the hydraulic means attached thereto.

    Abstract: A radiographic film cassette having a plurality of magnet components integral with the cassette holder for adhering the cassette to ferrous material in X-raying for defects in welds or fissures in shipyards, pipe lines, or the like. What is provided is a substantially flexible cassette envelope comprising first and second layers of radiographic intensifying screens with a sheet of radiographic film positioned therebetween. The cassette would be a cassette envelope constructed of waterproof fabric or other suitable material providing a light-free environment, and having the ability to flex around the curvature of the surface of a pipe or the like to be x-rayed. There is further provided a plurality of magnet components, preferably situated in each corner of the cassette envelope and flexibly attached thereto for overall adherence of the envelope to the surface of the pipe or the like to be x-rayed during the process.

    Abstract: An apparatus which would include a four wall closed structure having a rack on its floor portion in order to accommodate the food to be cooked or smoked. There is further provided a removable top which would have a recessed container means for housing coals or the like as a source of heat, with the recessed pan intruding into the interior of the apparatus. Positioned above the recessed pan means is a grill means hingedly attached to the top portion of the apparatus for placing meat or the like thereupon. The apparatus further comprises a means to smoke the meat while it undergoes baking, and a drain means for draining excess drippings during the cooking process.
