Abstract: The invention is an apparatus for mixing and injection molding thermosetting polyurethane. The invention involves using a premixer comprising of a series of specially designed premixing chambers, one or more static, rather than dynamic, mixers, and a specially designed dual-path mixer. After the material is mixed it is pumped into an injector, and then deposited into a mold. This entire process is accomplished in an airtight environment. The mold into which the material is pumped is attached to a vacuum that decreases the chances of any air bubbles being trapped inside the mold. New features of the apparatus include a dual-path mixer and a newly designed premixing chamber.

Abstract: The present invention relates to device (50) for guiding and sealing a moveable window (10), especially a side window of a motor vehicle. The device (50) includes at least one guide rail (15, 16) which comprises an inner space for guiding lateral edges (11, 12) of the window (10) and has sealing elements for sealing the window (10). The device comprises at least one driving means (17, 18, 19; 20, 21, 22) for moving the window (10) and which interacts with the guide rail (15, 16).
Abstract: A self-contained bathroom waste collection and disposal unit, having an access cover free of electrical and plumbing fixtures is disclosed. The unit includes a reservoir having an inlet and a sump opening. The sump opening is sized to receive a pump and a float mechanism therethrough. The sump opening is closed by a primary cover having venting, plumbing and electrical ports and an access cover. The access cover can be removed to access the enclosed sump, without interrupting the venting, plumbing or electrical connections.
Abstract: A laminate having a metal reinforcement and a bonding veneer is disclosed, wherein the bonding veneer is a peroxide cured rubber including at least one of a polybutadiene and (meth)acrylate. A feature layer is formed on the bonding veneer and can be any of a variety of cross-linkable materials such as EPDM and EPM.
Abstract: An elastomeric web cap (15) for securing to a web (14) of a frameless door (10), more particularly a motor vehicle door (10). The web cap (15) is secured to the web (14) by at least one anchoring element (24; 31; 41) arranged in the middle of the web cap (15) to thus make for a reliable anchoring of the web cap (15) whilst achieving an enhanced overall visual appeal.
Abstract: A coupler for connecting a dipper arm of an excavator to a bucket without the need for the operator of the excavator to leave the cab of the excavator, the coupler having means for connecting it to the end of the dipper arm, and means, including a latching hook for connecting it to one of a plurality of different buckets and wherein locking means is provided to prevent inadvertent unlatching of the latching hook, said locking means being operable from the cab. The locking means may be gravity operated and include resiliently deformable means thereon to prevent unlatching when the coupler is inverted. Alternatively, it may be spring operated in which case, further means is provided to move the locking means against the bias of the spring. Preferably, the hook has a special internal profile so that when it is supporting the weight of a bucket, it will tend to move to a latching position, not to an unlatching position.
Abstract: Novel colored liquids such as inks for use in fiber-tip, felt-tip, ballpoint and fountain pens and in ink-jet printing. The colored liquids contain by volume (I) 17.3 to 23.8% of a base ink; (II) 39.7 to 52.9% of an aqueous dispersion of a thermoplastic and self-crosslinking acrylic polymer serving as a vehicle and UV filter; (III) 4.7 to 5.8% of ethanol; (IV) 20.6 to 21.7% of water; (V) 2.6 to 6.6% of a basic auxilliary; and (VI) 2.6 to 6.6% of maple syrup thickener.
Abstract: A head-mounted display having a two-stage optical process is disclosed. This two-stage system enables a relatively compact and inexpensive head mounted display. The head-mounted display has two sections extending rearward around the sides of the head. Within each section, a display screen projects an image that passes through a first lens. It then undergoes a magnification process involving total internal reflection within a second lens. The light exiting the second lens is magnified to the level desired at a low cost and a small size.
Abstract: The invention relates to a road roller (10) comprising a chassis frame (22), an encapsulated engine (15) and a radiator (34) through which cooling air flows. For a supply of fresh cooling air free of dust a hood (16) covering the engine (15) and a separate housing (17) accommodating the radiator (34) are provided. The hood (16) comprises an air intake (24) as well as air outlet openings (35) and is air communicatingly connected to the housing (17).
Abstract: A decorative window surround sealing system includes a plurality of seals adapted to be mounted on a vehicle body for sealing a movable window panel in a window opening, each of the seals having an exterior surface, at least one fitting on at least one of the plurality of seals, a one piece surround cap having at least one cooperative fitting compatible with at least one fitting on the at least one of the plurality of seals for attaching the surround cap to the at least one fitting, the decorative surround cap covering a substantial portion of the exterior surface of each of the plurality of seals.
Abstract: A weatherseal for repeatedly and releasably contacting a panel to provide a weather resistant seal therebetween. The weatherseal includes a substrate having a contact layer on the portion of the substrate that contacts the panel. The contact layer includes a multitude of surface treated ultra high molecular weight olefinic particles, such as ultra high molecular weight polyethylene, in a thermoset material such as cross linkable urethane, wherein some of the embedded particles define the area of contact between the weatherseal and the panel.

Abstract: A photograph retaining assembly is disclosed, wherein a backing substrate has an adhesive layer on one side and a plurality of retaining pockets on a second side. The retaining pockets formed to preclude perforation of the backing substrate. Abstract: This device is a brushless high-voltage electrical generator, requiring suitable means of input rotary torque, for purposes of producing a very-high-energy external electrodynamic field or continuous quasi-coherent DC corona or arc discharge of uniform current density which completely encloses the machine's conductive housing. This housing is divided into distinct electrical sections and contains a flat conductive rotor which electrically links separate negative and positive housing sections and upon which a plurality of toroidal generating coils are rotatably mounted. Circular arrays of stationary permanent magnets are affixed within the housing which induce a constant DC voltage within said coils upon their rotation.

Abstract: A braking system for a towed vehicle having a hydraulic brake system wherein a continuously variable hydraulic pressure is generated to provide a corresponding and proportional brake force in the towed vehicle. A hydraulic pressure generator having an electric motor with variable electric input is employed to provide a corresponding a proportional hydraulic pressure by a hydraulic pressure generator, wherein the resulting variable hydraulic pressure is employed to provide a proportional braking force in the towed vehicle.
Abstract: A trapping protector for a power operated closing device includes a profile strip of elastomer material formed as an extruded member including a touch sensitive profile having a conductive surface portion extending substantially along the length of the profile in the area facing a leading edge of a movable panel in conjunction with which the trapping protector is used, and a touch sensitive detector coupled to the conductive surface for generating a triggering signal when the conductive surface portion is touched, without requiring any significant displacement of the surface portion. Preferably, but not necessarily, the profile strip also includes a sealing profile connected to the touch sensitive profile for sealing the closing device. The sealing profile can be a separately extruded strip if desired. In accordance with another aspect of the invention, the conductive surface portion comprises a layer of conductive elastomer and an electrical conductor in ohmic contact with the elastomer.
