    Abstract: A cleaning device for cleaning adhesive particles and other foreign matter from a disk-shaped wafer mount plate used in semiconductor fabrication comprises a plurality of support rollers supporting the wafer mount plate horizontally for rotation about its own axis. One or more driving rollers are brought into frictional contact with the peripheral side surface of the wafer mount plate to rotationally drive the same. An upper surface washing brush, a lower surface washing brush and a side surface washing brush are movable into brushing contact with the upper, lower and peripheral side surfaces, respectively, of the wafer mount plate for simultaneously brushing all the surfaces thereof while a washing liquid is sprayed thereon. Then rinsing liquid is sprayed on the wafer mount plate, which is thereafter dried by blowing drying gas thereon.

    Abstract: A line thermal head has a head main body portion having an array of heating elements divided into a plurality of physical blocks. A head control portion divides each physical block into a plurality of division units of heating elements depending on a capacity specification of an external power source used for driving the line thermal head. The head control portion controls a printing drive operation of the heating elements. Printing data is time division transferred in accordance with the division units of heating elements, and each of the physical blocks is driven to effect printing in accordance with the time division transferring of the printing data. The size of the division units of printing elements can be set in accordance with the capacity specification of the external power source, to further reduce the size of the power source needed.

    Abstract: A three-dimensional shape measurement system produces three-dimensional information of an object, such as an eye fundus, by directing light onto the object, receiving the light reflected from the object, photoelectrically converting the received light and processing the electric signal. The system includes laser beam control circuitry for focal point shifting in the direction of the optical axis, and a pair of detectors for detecting variation in the focal position of the light reflected from the object and deriving information respecting the shape of the object in the direction of the optical axis. Signal processing circuitry drives the laser beam control circuitry to produce a focused condition and adjusts the output signals of the detectors to a prescribed state.

When the object is an electro-statically charged article, an electric static ion mix clean compressible fluid containing electric static ions generated from an electric static ion eliminator is discharged to the object. It is possible to employ the structure wherein the object is set into a blow washing tray, and is moved up and down by the emission of the clean compressible fluid.

    Abstract: A camera capable of imprinting data in which data imprinting means is provided in a control circuit for controlling photographing and power consumption is reduced by appropriately changing intervals for driving a central processing unit (CPU) in accordance to data to be imprinted.A drive signal outputting means 7 is included in the control circuit 1 for controlling photographing and a first drive signal is output from a short time counting means 5 at intervals of one minute and a second drive signal is output from a long time counting means 6 at intervals of 10 minutes, respectively, to a drive signal detecting means 8. When data imprinting mode is set up in a time mode (indicating in unit of minute), the CPU 9 is driven by the first drive signal and time data in a memory 9d is added up at intervals of one minute. When a date mode (indicating in unit of day) is set up, the CPU 9 is driven by the second drive signal and the time data is added up at intervals of 10 minutes.

    Abstract: A turbomolecular pump comprises a casing having an inlet port at one end portion and an outlet port at another end portion, a rotor supported rotatably within the casing, and a stator fixed on an inner wall of the casing. The rotor has rotor vanes which coact with stator vanes on the stator to pump gas molecules from the inlet port to the outlet port. The rotor and stator vanes are arranged in multi-steps and have ceramic surfaces at the steps near the outlet port of the casing and have metallic surface at all other steps, so as to promote the baking efficiency and obtain extremely high vacuums.

The concentration gradient of the second metal dopant defines a slope smaller than the slope of the concentration gradient of the first metal dopant. The slope of the concentration gradient of the second metal dopant is in the same direction as the slope of the concentration gradient of the first metal dopant.

    Abstract: An apparatus for dispersing and grinding a material by means of a grinding medium, such as balls or beads, comprises a grinding vessel, and a rotor rotatably disposed in the grinding vessel to define a narrow annular flow path between the rotor and the inner wall of the grinding vessel. On the outer peripheral surface of the rotor, a set of guiding protrusions is disposed for guiding, in the circumferential direction, the flow of a mixture of the grinding medium and material flowing within the annular flow path. Inside the rotor, an inside flow path extends in the axial direction and a backward screw is disposed for returning the grinding medium in the inside flow path to the upstream side of the grinding vessel. The grinding medium gathering at the downstream side of the grinding vessel efficiently enters the inside flow path through inflow conduits provided on the rotor, the grinding medium and is urged backwards toward the upstream side by the backward screw.

The heat generating unit is constructed such that its resistance increases according to a temperature rising of the heat resistive element by the current supply so as to reduce an output of a driving current.
