  • Patent number: 8318020
Abstract: When a separation membrane (3) is washed with a chemical solution that is a sodium hypochlorite solution, which has a high concentration, diluted with membrane treated water stored in a chemical solution tank (6), an ammonic nitrogen concentration in membrane-treated water is monitored with a monitoring device (9), and a control device (8) controls a chemical solution dosing pump (7) using the concentration measured by the device (9) to adjust a dilution rate. Thereby, even when water quality of membrane-treated water varies, a sodium hypochlorite concentration in backwashing water can be retained constant, and fluctuation in the chemical washing effect can be prevented.

  • Patent number: 8309257
Abstract: A first fine particle-containing solution is deposited on an appropriate substrate, and dried to form a first fine particle aggregate layer. Polymer particles are deposited on the first fine particle aggregate layer, and are supplied with a second fine particle-containing solution such that the polymer particles are immersed in the second fine particle-containing solution. The second fine particle-containing solution is dried to form a second fine particle aggregate layer containing a large number of the polymer particles embedded. A first structure precursor is completed at this stage. Then, the first structure precursor is separated from the substrate, and thermally treated. Thus, the production of a first solid electrolyte structure, which has a porous solid electrolyte portion and a dense solid electrolyte portion integrated, is completed.

  • Patent number: 8311316
Abstract: There is provided a database storing reference data including a plurality of reference image data, which are obtained by imaging reference substrates, respectively, wherein each of the reference substrates lacks only one of the films of different kinds but includes remainder of the films of different kinds, and wherein in the reference substrates the lacking films are different from each other, and wherein the plurality of reference image data is classified into categories according to the kinds of the films. Difference degrees between color information of a defect area extracted from an image data of an inspection target substrate and color information of corresponding areas of the reference substrates are calculated. Based on the difference degree, the defective film is identified.
