Abstract: An ankle brace provides a variety of features that contribute to comfort, stability, and support. One embodiment provides thin, elongated gripping surfaces on the bottom of the brace, to reduce the opportunity for the brace to slip relative to the wearer's shoe. One embodiment provides substantially horizontal strap-receiving slots in the forefoot area, which; pull the foot down, toward the bottom of the brace, not relying on the shoe to hold the foot down against the brace.

Abstract: An ankle brace may be convertible so it can be used at various stages of treatment, from functioning as a splint when the ankle is first injured, to functioning as a pivoting, relatively non-restrictive protective brace after the ankle has fully healed. The brace also may have a pivoting buckle with the range of pivoting motion of the buckle being limited to provide for the brace to adapt to the wearer while still providing stability and support.

A longitudinal spacer is installed between the metal surface and the substrate so as to induce a bowing or camber of the sheet of metal.

Abstract: A board game combining an element of chance (via a random event generator, such as a die) with strategy to decide the outcome of the game. Game pieces are moved along a numerically sequenced series alternating in a pattern from inside a dividing line to outside of this same line and back again until a game piece reaches the free-throw line, at which time it may be “shot” in order to score, provided that the required character is generated by the random event generator. Whether a game piece may come into the game and whether it may advance along the sequential series depends on the random event generator. However, which game piece to play, assuming a valid move can be made, is up to the player(s) of the team, and the strategy followed by the team player(s) can have a major impact in the outcome of the game.

Abstract: A tool that can be used to load catalyst into a chemical reactor. In a preferred embodiment, the tool may also be used to measure the outage in the reactor tube. Also in a preferred embodiment, the tool provides a way to prevent dust from accumulating on the upper tube sheet of the reactor while loading catalyst into the reactor tubes.
