Abstract: A proximal radioulnar joint (lateral elbow) prosthesis includes a radial brace member to be secured to the radius bone and an ulna brace member to be secured to the ulna bone. The radial brace member has a ball at its proximal end, and the ulnar brace member defines a curved cavity which receives and rotationally supports the ball.
Abstract: A cyclone separator including a gas inlet, a gas outlet, and a particle outlet opening, wherein a rotatable particle collection chamber is in fluid communication with the particle outlet opening.
Abstract: A display mounted on a shopping cart handle allows shoppers to find information, to obtain coupons, to refer to in-store audio or video programs, and the like.
Abstract: A device and method for measuring the back pressure in chemical reactor tubes includes many automated features. Inflatable tube seals may be automatically inflated. The device may measure several tubes at once. It may transmit data electronically to a remote computer for analysis and graphic display.
Abstract: A media transfer device includes an inlet opening, an outlet opening, a screen, and a two-way mirror, such that, when an image is projected through the inlet opening and is reflected off of the two-way mirror onto the screen, a recorder located at the outlet opening may record the screen image as seen through the two-way mirror.
Abstract: An ankle brace provides a variety of features that contribute to comfort, stability, and support. One embodiment provides thin, elongated gripping surfaces on the bottom of the brace, to reduce the opportunity for the brace to slip relative to the wearer's shoe. One embodiment provides substantially horizontal strap-receiving slots in the forefoot area, which; pull the foot down, toward the bottom of the brace, not relying on the shoe to hold the foot down against the brace.
Abstract: An ankle brace may be convertible so it can be used at various stages of treatment, from functioning as a splint when the ankle is first injured, to functioning as a pivoting, relatively non-restrictive protective brace after the ankle has fully healed. The brace also may have a pivoting buckle with the range of pivoting motion of the buckle being limited to provide for the brace to adapt to the wearer while still providing stability and support.

Abstract: An auger shaft bearing support includes a multi-part inner bearing, a multi-part outer bearing, and a multi-part housing. The inner bearing is secured to the auger shaft and rotates with the auger shaft. The inner bearing has an outer surface that is received in the outer bearing.
Abstract: A coupler device includes a hollow housing defining first and second openings, an electrical path through the housing, and a physical block including a potting material that surrounds the electrical path and fills the space between the electrical path and the housing.
Abstract: A device and method for securing a substantially flat sheet of metal (such as metal roofing or siding) to a substrate in a manner which avoids or reduces oil canning. A longitudinal spacer is installed between the metal surface and the substrate so as to induce a bowing or camber of the sheet of metal.
Abstract: A board game combining an element of chance (via a random event generator, such as a die) with strategy to decide the outcome of the game. Game pieces are moved along a numerically sequenced series alternating in a pattern from inside a dividing line to outside of this same line and back again until a game piece reaches the free-throw line, at which time it may be “shot” in order to score, provided that the required character is generated by the random event generator. Whether a game piece may come into the game and whether it may advance along the sequential series depends on the random event generator. However, which game piece to play, assuming a valid move can be made, is up to the player(s) of the team, and the strategy followed by the team player(s) can have a major impact in the outcome of the game.
Abstract: A safety rein includes an elongated strap member defining a free end, a central gripping portion, and a loop end, and a cord extending along the central gripping portion and around the loop end, and secured to the elongated strap member.
Abstract: A magnetic proximity sensor includes first and second contacts and a common contact and an actuator shaft, wherein the position of the common contact is determined by the position of the shaft, but the force between the contacts is independent of the position of the shaft.
Abstract: An auger shaft bearing support includes a multi-part inner bearing, a multi-part outer bearing, and a multi-part housing. The inner bearing is secured to the auger shaft and rotates with the auger shaft. The inner bearing has a partial spherical outer surface that is received in the outer bearing.
Abstract: A tool that can be used to load catalyst into a chemical reactor. In a preferred embodiment, the tool may also be used to measure the outage in the reactor tube. Also in a preferred embodiment, the tool provides a way to prevent dust from accumulating on the upper tube sheet of the reactor while loading catalyst into the reactor tubes.
