Abstract: A safety latch automatically stops a drawer or cabinet door both when opening and closing. In a preferred embodiment, the safety latch is a one-piece design and catches on the front face of the cabinet.
Abstract: A paint system and process are disclosed for hardfacing metal surfaces. In one embodiment of the process, a paint including a dispersion of hard particles is first applied as a coating to a surface. Next, a paint including a dispersion of a braze alloy is applied over the layer of hard particles. The surface is then heated to cause the braze alloy to melt and infiltrate into the hard particles thereby bonding them to the metallic surface. In another embodiment, a first layer of adhesive is applied, and a hardfacing powder is applied onto the adhesive. Then a second layer if adhesive is applied, and a braze alloy powder is applied onto the second adhesive. Then the material is heated as in the first embodiment. In another embodiment, paint containing hard particles is coated onto the substrate, and an acid-containing cross-linked copolymer in the paint is then neutralized to increase the viscosity of the paint to prevent running.

Abstract: A hybrid vapor generator has at least one evaporator with tubes arranged in sections, one section including a natural circulation loop with a separating drum and downcomer(s), and another section being a pump assisted once-through circulation section.
Abstract: A membrane electrode cell is disclosed which has a membrane cartridge that can readily be removed from the cell without disassembling the framework of the cell. Also, a membrane electrode cell is disclosed which has a water flow arrangement that removes debris from the bottom of the cell.
Abstract: A car lifting platform including a plurality of “L” shaped forks in a parallel mounting arrangement with plates interconnecting the forks. The plates are secured (typically by welding) to the forks and extend substantially along the horizontal leg of the “L”, around the ell portion of the “L and at least part way up the vertical leg of the “L”. The ell portion of the plate may include oval-shaped through openings to allow foreign objects to fall off of the platform and to receive a projection from the object to be carried on the platform in order to limit sliding motion of the object carried on the platform.
Abstract: A concrete pole includes an attachment mechanism which provides a structurally sound means of attaching to the pole and permits the use of short, inexpensive bolts. The attachment mechanism includes reinforcing bars, a base plate, an internally threaded fastener insert fixed to the base plate, which provides a path from the base plate, which is embedded in the concrete pole, to the finished outside surface of the pole. One embodiment includes a pipe connecting opposing fastener inserts for added strength.

Abstract: A trailer which can be used to tow a vehicle and which can be towed by the same vehicle while that vehicle is inside the trailer and lowered down to ground level.
Abstract: The humic-mineral agent from naturally occurring carbon-series humites and caustobioliths comprises humic acids and salts thereof, naturally hydrated humic acids, hydrolyzed humic acids, hydrated and hydrolyzed humic-mineral and mineral complexes of parent carbon-series humites and caustobioliths chemically bound to the naturally hydrated humic acids. The method for preparing a humic-mineral agent comprises crushing and disintegrating of carbon-series humites and caustobioliths and mixing them with an alkali. The carbon-series humites and caustobioliths are crushed and disintegrated when their moisture content is close to the natural level at which humic acids are in a naturally hydrated state, hot water is added to the. Next an alkali is added thereto and the mixture is hydrolyzed till obtaining the end product having consistency from viscous-flow to plastic and the pH value of from 6.5 to 8. The method for detoxication of polluted soil.

Abstract: A device and a method for training a golfer to putt a golf ball into a hole. The device includes a slope indicator, which provides a visual indication of the slope of the slope of the golf green at the rim of the hole. The golfer marks the slope and practices different lines of approach of the ball to the hole, and at different distances, until he can accurately and consistently sink the putt from any approach on the green.
Abstract: A storage rack assembly includes a base detachably secured to the storage rack. The base has a recessed bottom portion closest to the aisle to protect the front legs from accidentally being hit by a forklift truck.
Abstract: A router mounting system is disclosed. A preferred embodiment of the router mounting system includes a router assembly, a first sub-base, and a router table. The router assembly and first sub-base include interlocking radial projections, recesses and discontinuities such that the first sub-base can be firmly attached to the router assembly quickly and without the use of tools or fasteners. This allows a user to interchangeably use a single router either in the hand mode of operation or in the table mode of operation with only a few seconds required to change betweens modes of operation.
Abstract: A roof curb is made of a plurality of panels that assemble together with positive engagement without requiring the use of connectors or tools. The panels preferably are formed from flat sheets that are stamped. In a preferred embodiment, the connections include a bent end on one member, which forms a tab, and a strap on another member, which receives the tab.
