Abstract: An aqueous silica dispersion containing silica particles dispersed in an aqueous medium is provided. The surfaces of the silica particles are treated with reacted aminosilane compound. The aqueous silica dispersion also contains anionic polymeric dispersing agent. The dispersion of the silica particles into an aqueous medium containing both anionic polymeric dispersing agent and aminosilane compound allows the preparation of aqueous silica dispersions at higher solids and/or low viscosities than aqueous silica dispersions that are prepared without either the anionic polymeric dispersing agent or the aminosilane compound. The aqueous silica dispersion is combinable with aqueous emulsion polymers to modify the physical or appearance properties of articles formed from the emulsion polymer.
Abstract: An on-chip voltage conversion apparatus for integrated circuits includes a first capacitor; a first NFET device configured to selectively couple a first electrode of the first capacitor to a low side voltage rail of a first voltage domain; a first PFET device configured to selectively couple the first electrode of the first capacitor to a high side voltage rail of the first voltage domain; a second NFET device configured to selectively couple a second electrode of the first capacitor to a low side voltage rail of a second voltage domain, wherein the low side voltage rail of the second voltage domain corresponds to the high side voltage rail of the first voltage domain; and a second PFET device configured to selectively couple the second electrode of the first capacitor to a high side voltage rail of the second voltage domain.

Abstract: A computer software system is provided, namely an Object Process Graph Relational Database Interface (OPGRDI) system. The OPGRDI defines and updates relational database tables based on an OPG and stores and retrieves data in the tables as an OPG-defined application is run. The OPGRDI also defines and updates OPG persistent data object elements based on relational database table schemas. The OPGRDI functions can be enabled by users who want to store and retrieve application information in a relational database system, such as Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server, etc. The OPGRDI alters relational database tables as a user changes the structure of an OPG-defined application.
Abstract: Nonionic associative thickeners are provided having a nonionic water soluble polymer backbone containing vinyl addition polymer. The nonionic water soluble polymer backbone has at least two pendant polymeric chains attached to the nonionic water soluble polymer backbone. The pendant polymeric chains have terminal chain segments containing polyoxypropylene units. The nonionic associative thickeners are useful for modifying the rheology of compositions including aqueous compositions, such as latex containing compositions.
