This device is directed to a cleanable, removable device for a vehicle car seat comprising a contiguous pliable material having a pet seating area and a pet capture area. The pet impact protector is designed such that the force of the pet impact protector plus the pet, upon impact with the vehicle during a stop or slowing of the vehicle, causes the pet impact protector to partially collapse and form a protective impact area around the pet. This device is directed to the reduction of injury to a pet riding in a vehicle during an accident, stop or slowdown of the vehicle.

Abstract: Engine synchronization apparatus and system for multi-engine vehicles such as boats and aircraft providing limited authority throttle cable trim effected by an apparatus interposed between the throttle plate and throttle cable of a slave engine and mounted in a floating configuration. An actuator is mounted to the apparatus to trim the distance between the throttle plate and throttle cable attachment thereby trimming the throttle cable. A system is provided in which a difference signal derived from master and slave engine tachometer signals is used to control the actuator and synchronize the engines within a predetermined range.

Abstract: A method of embedding an optical signature in a document and document produced therefrom. The optical signature is an optical pattern generated from a known value, such as a mathematical, geometric, trigonometric, size, phase, and the like, and the same value can be generated from examination of a document having the embedded optical pattern. The document can be validated, authenticated, or the determination of a valid copy of an original document with the embedded optical signature made through comparison of the known value and the value generated from the optical pattern on the document. The optical pattern can also be generated from other identification codes on the document.

Abstract: The present invention is an inverter controller with feed-forward compensation. The inverter controller includes an error amplifier, a high frequency oscillator (HFOSC) with feed-forward compensation, a comparator, and a driver. The error amplifier can output a signal independent on the variation of a supply voltage. The HFOSC can generate a saw-tooth signal with a constant frequency and an amplitude proportional to the supply voltage. The comparator can compare the signal with the saw-tooth signal and generate a pulse width modulation signal whose duty cycle varies with the variation of the supply voltage. The driver receives the PWM signal and provides a proper pulse width modulation signal to drive an external inverter.

Abstract: The present invention is a voltage regulator circuit with enhanced frequency compensation. The voltage regulator includes an error amplifier, a dynamic bias circuit, an enhanced frequency compensation unit, a pass device and a compensation circuit. A signal from the pass device acts as an input signal of the error amplifier and is compared with another input signal, producing a differential signal. The differential signal is amplified and then provided to the dynamic circuit and the enhanced frequency compensation unit. The enhanced frequency compensation unit is provided such that a zero reference value in a left-hand plane can be generated to optimize the compensation for the voltage regulator circuit. The error amplifier includes a capacitor for compensating an output voltage of the voltage regulator circuit.

A lottery game player enters a base game and receives a base game entry, and may elect to play a second lottery game in addition to the base game, and if so, selects or has selected for them game indicia therefor. Abstract: A DC/DC converter for converting an input voltage to an output voltage comprises a switch, an inductor, two voltage dividers, a capacitor, and a controller. The switch coupled to the input voltage. The inductor having a parasitic direct current resistance is used for coupling the switch to an output node of the DC/DC converter so as to generate the output voltage at the output node. The first voltage divider is coupled to the output node for generating a divided voltage of the output voltage. The second voltage divider is coupled to the switch and ground. The capacitor coupled to the first voltage divider and the second divider to measure the current through the inductor by sensing a voltage across the capacitor. The controller coupled to the first switch for enabling and disenabling it so as to discontinuously providing power from the input voltage to the inductor.
