An installation structure for an installation part fixes an installation part to an installation target member by engaging and screwing the bolt with nut. A fixing seat is formed on a back surface of the installation target member integrally with the installation target member. A bolt is arranged in the fixing seat through the installation target member, and a holding part holding a nut on a back surface side of the seating face to prevent the nut from rotating.
Abstract: A brake control device is provided, which is capable of providing a precise diagnosis on a trouble on a hydraulic pressure valve etc., so as to provide an appropriate output hydraulic pressure corresponding to a stroke amount of a brake pedal. In this device, an electromagnetic valve is provided on a hydraulic pressure passage allowing an auxiliary hydraulic pressure chamber to communicate with an accumulator, and is controlled to open when such a trouble occurs that output hydraulic pressure from the hydraulic pressure valve becomes lower than a predetermined range; and an electromagnetic valve is also provided on a hydraulic pressure passage allowing the auxiliary hydraulic pressure chamber to communicate with a reservoir, and is controlled to open when such a trouble occurs that the output hydraulic pressure from the hydraulic pressure valve becomes insufficiently reduced.

The air bag body includes two base fabric pieces having overlapping side ends that are joined together, a tensile-force applying mechanism that applies tensile-force in the longitudinal direction of the vent hole, including a pair of V-shaped stitched lines bent in a sharply angled V-shape and formed on the side ends of the two base fabric pieces with a predetermined distance therebetween that defines the slit-like vent hole, and portions of the side ends aligned with vent hole along the gas discharge direction form a flow-passage restriction membrane.

Abstract: When a revolution speed of the engine (crankshaft) changes faster or slower, the vibration from the engine is propagated to an occupant in the vehicle, and the occupant may feel a sense of discomfort. For this reason, the present invention provides an active vibration isolating support apparatus and method for controlling the same to suppress the propagation of the vibration from the engine to the vehicle body so that the occupant may feel less sense of discomfort even if the revolution speed of the engine changes.

Abstract: When an electrical fluid pressure generator fails and a wheel cylinder is operated by brake fluid pressure generated by a master cylinder, if a first fluid pressure system leading to a rear fluid chamber of the electrical fluid pressure generator fails and is opened to the atmosphere, braking is performed by brake fluid pressure of a second fluid pressure system transmitted from the master cylinder through a front fluid chamber of the electrical fluid pressure generator to a wheel cylinder. At this time, a front supply port, which communicates through a front second cup seal, does not communicate with the master cylinder but with a reservoir. Such configuration prevents leakage of the brake fluid pressure generated by the master cylinder through the front supply port, the front second cup seal and the rear fluid chamber, thereby ensuring braking by the second fluid pressure system.

Abstract: In a brake system, two first fluid pressure chambers of a master cylinder respectively communicate with two second fluid pressure chambers of a motor cylinder. The two second chambers communicate with four wheel cylinders through an ABS. The wheel cylinders are operated by brake fluid pressure generated by the master cylinder in an abnormal situation where the motor cylinder is non-operational. The brake system includes two separate independent fluid pressure lines: one line extending from one of the first chambers in the master cylinder to the wheel cylinders via one of the second chambers in the motor cylinder; and the other line extending from the other first chamber in the master cylinder to the wheel cylinders via the other second chamber in the motor cylinder. Thus, even if an abnormality occurs in one of the two fluid pressure lines, a minimum necessary braking force is secured.
Abstract: A reaction force apparatus incorporated in a vehicle includes a reaction force controller for setting an acceleration intention boundary threshold value, which comprises a threshold value with respect to a rate of depression of an accelerator pedal, and which determines whether the driver of the vehicle intends to accelerate the vehicle quickly or gradually. The reaction force controller reduces the reaction force when the rate of depression exceeds the acceleration intention boundary threshold value, whereas the reaction force controller maintains the reaction force when the rate of depression is less than the acceleration intention boundary threshold value.

Abstract: An object position area is calculated according to a position in the space of a detected truck. A template corresponding to the object position area recorded at the previous time is then called. The template is moved to a position on a reference image Ib where the similarity is highest. Overlap rate of the object position area and the template is calculated. A decision is made whether the object is identical to that detected in the past by using the overlap rate.
