Abstract: A contactor has two contact elements (1, 2) each having a contact member (3, 4) adapted to bear with the contact side (5, 6) thereof against a said contact side of the other contact member for enabling an electric current to flow between said to contact elements. The contact sides of both contact members are provided with serration's (11, 12) extending so that elongated ridge-like peaks (13) of serration's of one said contact side intersect such peaks of the other said contact side while forming a plurality of spots of mutual contact of these contact sides distributed over the area of said contact sides.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a prosthetic open knit fabric (10) made as a single piece, based on an arrangement consisting of several sets of yarns of a biocompatible polymer material, comprising, continuously in the direction of production of the knit, a central strip (11) and two lateral strips (12), one on each side of the central strip, characterized in that it comprises one or more set(s) of pillar stitch yarns defining a pillar stitch pattern, the said one or more set(s) of pillar stitch yarns extending across the entire width of the central strip (11) and of the lateral strips (12) and together forming a first threading across the width of the central strip and a second threading across the width of the lateral strips, the said first and second threading being different, and at least two partial weft stitching sets. The present invention also relates to a method of producing such a knit fabric and to an implant for supporting prolapses obtained from such a knit fabric.

Abstract: An approval workflow management system capable of preventing a mismatch from being caused between a document of which the contents have been confirmed for approval, and an electronic document stored in a file server, for approval, thereby enhancing the reliability of an approval workflow. The approval workflow system is formed by connecting client computers, MFPs, a file server, and an approval information management server to a network. When an MFP receives a request for printing a file, from the client computer, the MFP requests the file server to restrict editing the file, and the approval information management to approve the file. When the approval information management server notifies the MFP that approval of the file has been successful, the MFP requests the file server to cancel restriction of editing the file.
Abstract: A circuit interrupter includes a current transformer, phase conductor and neutral conductor. The phase conductor and the neutral conductor are each configured to pass through the transformer from line side to load side that are defined by the current transformer. The circuit interrupter generates a continuous test current by continuous current imbalance established between the load side of the phase conductor and the line side of the neutral conductor, or between the line side of the phase conductor and the load side of the neutral conductor. A continuous test conductor may be coupled correspondingly to establish the current imbalance. Alternatively, an integrated circuit coupled correspondingly receives power and is energized by a quiescent current thereby. The current imbalance is established by the quiescent current. The current transformer detects the quiescent current as the continuous test current. Corresponding methods are also disclosed.

Abstract: This invention reduces the image data capacity by using PQR (spectral auxiliary coefficients) in addition to CIELAB (fundamental stimulus values). To accomplish this, there is provided an image processing apparatus which inputs image data representing an image, and performs an image process. The image data has a fundamental stimulus value and spectral auxiliary coefficient. The data amount of the fundamental stimulus value is constant regardless of the image area, and that of the spectral auxiliary coefficient changes in accordance with the image area.
Abstract: A filter and/or HME device including an upper shell suitable to be connected to ventilation means, a lower shell suitable to be connected to a tracheal or tracheostomy tube of a patient, a filter and/or HME element disposed between the upper shell and the lower shell and a condensation screen disposed in front of the filter and/or HME element and facing the lower shell wherein the condensation screen has a conical wall extending from the opposite part of the filter and/or HME element to produce, together with a portion of the lower shell a collection chamber for the condensation that forms.

Abstract: An interactive biological stabilization (IBS) device includes at least one communication path enabling operative coupling with at least one patient data monitoring device, and a processing device enabled for operative coupling with the at least one patient monitoring device through the at least one communication path. The processing device includes a hypnotherapeutic treatment decision block selecting at least one hypnotherapeutic treatment modality based on patient data received from the at least one patient data monitoring device through the at least one communication path. A system for interactively biologically stabilizing a patient includes the IBS device. A method for interactively biologically stabilizing a patient includes the steps of providing at least one apparatus monitoring vital patient data and providing at least one processor processing the vital patient data which selects a hypnotherapeutic treatment modality based on the processing of the vital patient data.
Abstract: An imaging apparatus includes an imaging sensor configured to convert a subject image passing through a photographing optical system into an electrical signal, a holding member configured to hold the imaging sensor, and a dust-proofing member configured to surround the circumference of a light reception surface of the imaging sensor. An urging portion is integrally formed with the dust-proofing member urging the holding member in a direction that the holding member is apart from the photographing optical system.
Abstract: A display control apparatus for superimposing an object on a moving image composed of a plurality of frames and outputting the moving image with the object superimposed to a monitor, comprises: an acquiring unit configured to acquire a plurality of candidate regions as candidates for superimposing the object on each of the plurality of frames constituting the moving image; an analyzing unit configured to, in each of the plurality of candidate regions acquired by the acquiring unit, analyze each of the plurality of frames and acquire a parameter showing an importance of each of the plurality of frames in each of the plurality of candidate regions; a determining unit configured to determine a superimposing region for superimposing the object based on the parameters; and a superimposing unit configured to superimpose the object on the superimposing region determined by the determining unit.
Abstract: An imaging apparatus is provided including an imaging unit configured to obtain image data, a display unit, and a communication unit configured to communicate with a plurality of external apparatuses.
